How do you determine a good graphic card on notebook? Besides having independent RAM what else to determine? How do you determine if a GC is for gaming? But if I'm not mistaken the normal type of GC too allow you to play game right? Just a matter of quality of display am I right?

Hi,

I'm planning to buy 2 PC with the budget of RM1500+- each but I'm not sure what spec I should go for as I'm quite a noob. Thus I need your advice and the usage and description as below

PC1
----
For normal usage only - merely surfing, documentation, multimedia, entertainment
If possible with a cheap yet reliable LCD

PC2
----
For designing usage - require graphic card as it will be use for graphic design, will use software like photoshop, illustrator
Monitor is optional

I'm not sure what's the diff btw dual core<core 2 duo<quad core<core i3<core i6

Also will you guys go for AMD? My last experience with AMD is that it is very very hot but that was century ago, wonder how is it now?

All advice are very well appreciated. Do advice on which shop to buy from too.

I've been searching on the net for days on open source knowledge base system and the one that I found was andy's knowledgebase.
But upon installing it it seems that the installation pack is missing something, it doesn't create table into the database.

So was wondering if any of you here have any other recommendation?

Let say I have this

and in js I have

function showsomething(x) {
if(x=="1") do something
else do something
}

in this line if(x=="1") do something
instead of x=="1" how can I tell the script to look for the word instead of value
example if(x=="Volvo") do something

Note that the value can't be replace with Volve and it have to be number as an ID

but what if I need the Y-m-d part to be dynamic?
$somedate="2010-06-25";
$test = date($somedate, strtotime("+1 day"))

This will only return today's date..

Anyone know how to remove this?
I'm using AVG free edition and it cannot be clean, so my alternate option is to move it to vault, but it just keep coming back.. I tried google but couldn't find any useful info..

I would like to pass value into flash using the GET method (eg.. www.something.com/test.asp?id=123), but I tried many ways and search the net and still couldn't manage to find any clue..

I can't retrieve the value / variable in flash..

When I run this code it return error

Error Type:
CDO.Message.1 (0x80070005)

I did a search on the net but still couldn't find much on what I wanan do...
Most of the code online are those where you attach file from your server and not from client side.

eg:
myMail.AddAttachment "C:/myfile.jpg"

So wonder if anyone can help me on sending an attachment mail from end user??

What I'm trying to do is to allow client side to attach a file and send it over to me with the file attached.

Set myMail = CreateObject("CDO.Message")

myMail.AddAttachment Request.Form("img")

I get error CDO.Message.1 error 80070015 for myMail.AddAttachment Request.Form("img")
When I tested it on localhost everything work fine.. however when uploaded to the server it start returning such error...

Without the line myMail.AddAttachment Request.Form("img"), everything is working fine.. but when added that line it start giving me headache.. can anyone help me out?

I search on the net and most of the tutorial are static one.. which mean
