Life after my divorce

If you have followed my previous thread where i was struggling whether to reconcile or divorce - so this is final and i have divorced and back to single life again (back to the market) hahaha..

So i've known this girl from my previous company (my ex colleague). She is still single and we have been connecting quite well (already know her before my divorce). I would not say we had a fling during that time and I always a BIG BORTHER amongst the group, and to her also.

She was one of the first to person to know that i will go for a divorce, and we did hang out occasionally like in cafes - no any romantic dates so far. BUT, there's once i offered to pick her up from airport from her trip and she agreed, we then had lunch and I sent her home.

Throughout this period and i always felt we had chances to build a deeper connection until one day, she sent me a "STOP TEXT" that says she only ever saw me as a big brother, and asked me to reciprocate from my divorce.

I accepted the "rejection" and stopped contacting her for a month. Recently, I tried asking her for a dinner she agreed for meet up. During the meet up, the vibe was super casual and normal - we chat, laughed and enjoyed the moment, as if the stop-text was never a thing. After the meet up, things gone slow again.

In short, I know i have been "bro-zoned", and i may have been over-thinking all these while. And i know my divorcee status may have pulled her back as well cos she did mentioned that my divorce was still fresh, when i was jokingly saying I'm back to single now.

What puzzles me:

- If a girl does not like you, or only treat you as a bro - will she ever let someone to pick her up from airport, and let you send her home?
- If the stop-text was final, she still agreed to meet up, and treat the text was not ever sent (i prepared that it will be an awkward meet-up)
- Getting close > Reject > Reconnect > Avoidant

In anyway, I'm trying to moved on from her and meeting someone new. Deep down, the mixed signals are still lingering.

Share with me your view on this situation

UPDATE:
Expressed to her my feelings for her is still there for after the first rejection. And yet she replied almost the same, so another rejection. I'm all done with her now. Tried whatever I can by giving her space, hang out as casual friends, no expectations, etc., ended up in the same outcome.

By the way, myself and our peers confirmed she is more or less a relationship virgin (like for 33 years). So she may be afraid and already shut down for good to get into a relationship, OR maybe she is a Bisexual kinda girl - as i do not see she's been hanging out with guys at all.

Whatever it is, I'm closing her off and she need to be gone for good. I muted her IG stories and no more contacts, so that someone new can come into my life.

Marriage advice needed

So I have been married to my partner where we know each other for 10 years (married for 2 years quite recently). Along these years, we are just a happily ever after couple but our relationship/bonding changed after my wife decided to have a dog (thanks to MCO) and this was an impulse decision - we did not discuss what and how if we were to have a pet.

After the pet came, our marriage life change drastically where my wife will put all the time and effort to the dog (treating it as if like is her own kid). We have been discussing and i stressed that i want to have kid, but she would not be able to commit. We have been petting the dog for 3 years now and our daily routine is nothing but all about the dog now. Wherever I plan to go (like a short trip or so), she will be worried for her dog, as you know in MY not everywhere is pet friendly place.

I'm not a pet person and i do not enjoy walking the dog in the park, pet cafe hopping, pet gathering etc. I'm in my late 30s now and i do not want to carry on with this lifestyle for the next 10 years (assume the dog can live for another 10 years). I have a good career and ultimately i want to have a family but not with the dog.

After all these, i have been thinking for a divorce. We have been discussing/deep talk this few times and did not managed to come a conclusion (she will not let go of her pet/and I'm not willing to go on for my remainder of my life with the dog). If i were to compromise and accept the dog as a family, i will not be happy and it will not be marriage life i want.

Additional info - I'm a man with no bad habits, typical house-husband type that does all the housework. So i do not think my wife attitude change cos of some bad from me. Just FYI.

Please my friend, your two cents of advice would be very much helpful to me.

Reconcile??

Update:
Divorce filed. And moved on with new life now.

Hi all, I'm in a state of lost now. I couldnt think, my heart is broken, what i can do now is just to forget her. The story come like this.

I met this gal in my office, she was a trainee and she left for her studies in Australia. During her intern in my office, we have a great time together. Talking to each other and it was a memorabale moment. At first, i treat her as a friend, soon after so much of messaging and phoning, i felt like i fell for her, but... she was not available, she made it clear at the very beginning we were just friends.

After she went back to Aussie, we still keep contacting each other, day and night, all the time. During months of messaging and phoning, sometimes we do emotionally unstable, she mentioned she misses me, so do i. She was so lost that she duno what she want, it even affect her relationship with her BF. I'm lost as well cause i missed here so much and waiting for her return in June. Hence, we promised ourself not to think about the relationship until she get back on June.

Yesterday, we had a tense discussion and she decided not to talk to me anymore, she even blocked me from FB. I'm seriously depressed now. I never ask for further relationship, all i want is just talk to her cause is like a habit since months of talking to her day and night. I felt so empty n broke now.

Yea i know u guys might ask me to carry on with life, get another gal, but the months of relationship, joy and sorrow, couldnt jz let go with jz a simple thought. If she was available, i guess we would further our relationship though. Am i too negative sometimes which i tried not to talk to her to help her maintain her relationship with her BF. But, this act she said i hurt her by being so emotionally unstable.

Guys, i'm writting this just to share with y'all as i have nobody to share my feeling right now. Is my birthday today she not even send me a wishes.
