Accepting SPA job offer while pursuing MSc

Guys,

I would like to heed for your kind advise on this matter

I am currently pursuing MSc at local university. I have paid my registration and tuition fees and I am expected to graduate by end of next year. However, recently I have been called for an interview for a job at the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. To note, I did apply for a post in SPA about 2 years back, when I was still working in a private company. About one year of fruitless wait, I finally decided to go back to academia for postgraduate studies.

During the interview, I did tell them regarding my MSc studies. Being opportunist myself, I blindly assured them that I can manage to reschedule my labwork and the job, should they took me in, like 2 weeks for MSc and another 2 weeks of work, or working in alternating weeks.

What worries me right now is if they send me away for the post and travelling back to lab weekly for MSc is very difficult, I have to abandon my postgraduate studies. In my opinion, my project for the MSc is a flagship project. I am working on a novel project.

If I left this project, I don't think I will get another golden opportunity like this.

On the other hand, if I turn down the offer, what could be the outcome? Will I be blacklisted?

I don't know which path to choose. Both are my topmost priority: Cita-cita (MSc) and Duit (SPA).

Advise me please. Thanks.
