Jamming room sound proof

Hi people. Dun flame me first for opening another sound proof for jamming room thread. I've searched around but those were for budget-constraint scenario.

I will be moving into a new house soon, and will be building a jamming room out of an empty piece of land (19 feet x 12 feet), slightly bigger than an ordinary size bedroom. Besides putting in drums, bass, guitars and an organ, i might also considering making it an karaoke room as well by putting in a tv inside there.

Budget is not a big issue here so I would like to ask how should I build the room so that the sound can be minimized to the lowest without agitating the neighbours next doors (Double layer wall, wool, etc etc). Hope someone who have knowledge regarding this dont mind shedding me some light as I have zero knowledge about this. Those who have experience opening jamming studios may help also.

Thanks a lot.

Firmware 2.1

Hi guys. I've upgrade from 1.1.4 to firmware 2.1 yesterday. I noticed it is kinda slow compared to 1.1.4. For an example, to type a message, i would have to wait 2-3 seconds for it the load me the message application. This goes to other applications too. And, due to the fast upgrade, I've lost all my previous SMSes, photos and others. Is there anyway for me to retrieve them back? 1 more question, i notice there isnt many things available for download in Cydia. Do I have to add more sources like in Installer in order to have more things to download? Sorry for the questions, I'm quite new to iPhone

Changing pickups

Hi there, I currently have an Epiphone SG, and have been playing for 1/2 year. Thought of changing pickups for my guitar. I kinda of like those les paul 'thick' kind of sound but I have no fundamental about pickups at all. Only heard of 81/85 which require battery to power it up which kind of puzzles me. Not sure about other pickups like Dmarzio or Seymour Duncan. Anyone here is kind enough to enlighten me, and together with the price. And yea, is installing the pickups a easy DIY task or do i need to let the guitar shop staff to do it for me?
