wifi extender or booster ?

I hv a technical issue about wifi.

1) wifi router at gnd flr, my comp in 1st flr. how to i improve the signal strength to my comp ? signal received in my comp was not stable, sometime low signal. will reconnect the server during in game, sometime require relogin the game. yes it happen in zoom meeting too.

2)Im using unifi, will not stable during heavy, no matter in game, or in my phone and my astro. we all knows astro must unstable in heavy rain, then connect or swift to wifi but wifi not stable too, so will watch youtube in my phone, but same story. so what can i do ?

please advice.
