Tethering With Mac

It would be great if the sifu(s) here can share with me some feedback with regards to using the BB Bold as a tethered mode. I tried pairing it up but it did not work though. Any ideas?

I was just wondering, how does the push email exactly work ... I understand how push emails work but is it the same in Blackberries.

Well, I was testing it and sent a message to my own email and I did not get any new emails notification in my device also?

I know it is a silly question but I am only a two day old user for Blackberry. I hope someone can explain it to me. I still got a long way to learn.

Hey,

I am new to Blackberry actually and I would like to learn more about the device. Basically, if the mobile does not have the services, it can still function like a normal cellphone with the SIM card, right?

Which provider would you recommend - Celcom or Maxis? I use the latter provider and I am considering to get a Blackberry. Is it possible to also get the device from a third party and are Blackberries like iPhones - for example, it depends on the countries the machine is bought from to be unlocked?

Is it possible to get a Blackberry under installment ( just asking because there are times people offer installments for devices ) and how much can a user do with the Blackberry services besides the usual email checking and whatnots?

I was surfing around and apparently in Mac Forums quite a number of users experienced this same problem - it takes a hard push on the HOME button to go back to the main menu. Are you guys experiencing this issue too? I realized that I need to press quite hard to go back to HOME on my machine.

Using iSight With Y!M

Hey guys, I have been doing a lot of webcamming these days through Y!M and out of the sudden my friends will not be able to view my webcam and they told me that there's a message displayed saying it is "Not Available". I was just wondering could it be the slow internet connection or it has something to do w/my iSight. When I use Photo Booth, everything seemed fine though.

Any ideas?

Hey guys, I realized that the iSight of my MB tends to turn itself on when I turn it on. Have you guys encountered this before? And when I try to force quit, there are not applications that has any connection to the iSight such as MSN or Y!M. It's weird.

And when I turn on Photo Booth the screen is blank b/c the webcam is on. I read other forums and apparently quite a number of MB users have been through at least the same situation that I did.

Methods to Transfer Songs from iPod to MB

My iPod is running on Windows format b/c before I bought my MB it was used w/my Windows. Anyway, I want to transfer my songs from my iPod to my MB and any suggestions of freeware that can help the transfers? I tried using using iPod.iTunes (http://www.crispsofties.com/iPod.iTunes.html) but at the end of the transfer I realized half of my libraries were not transferred and even so the songs in my play lists are not complete. To complete all the transfers, I need to buy the software.

Do you guys know any program which is free and that can allow me to transfer all my songs properly into my MB if not I will have to do it the traditional way.

Hey guys, I just realised that when I wanted to change my display photo in my MSN Messenger I cannot click "okay" upon the display photo that has been chosen. Does it mean that it's buggy and any of you have encountered that before?

It doesn't support .JPG also b/c I tried inserting my own photo but to no avail. Kind of puzzling. Care to share your experiences here?

Hey guys, am new to Apple; the machine. I purchased a Macbook and right now I am trying to configure my wireless connection but it does not seem to be working here. My current pad is using channel #6 and in Windows the users have the ability to change the channels. How can I do that w/a Macbook b/c the preset channel is 11 and I cannot connect to my wireless connection.
