How to calculate tax based on grosspay when tax will be held at the rate of 10% on the first rm200.00, 15% on the next rm400.00 and 20% on anything over rm600.

at the first rm200.00, tax = pay x 10/100. Hw about for the next rm400 and abv rm600?

-90 students own a bike

All students have at least one of the three types of vehicles. It is also known that the number that the students that own a bike only is twice the number of students that own a motorbike and a car only, and that it exceeds the number f students that own a bike and a car only by 25.
i. How many students own exactly one type of vehicle only?

Given that (5,h) is a solution of the simultaneous equation h(x-y) = x+y-1 = hx^2-11y^2.

i already gt the answer for a, which is h=2. I gt so confused when i tried to answer question b by replacing h with 2. Can any1 solve the problem?

Can someone answer this:

1, Given (h+1) and (k-2) are the roots of x2+9x+14=0. Find value of h and k. (ans. k=0, h=-8 / k=-5, h=-3)
2, Given one of the roots of the equation 2x2+1=h-5x is 4 times the other root. Find value of the roots and value of h. (ans. x=-1/2, x=-2 / h=-1)
3, Given the quadratic equation 2x2+4=k(2x-1) such that k is a constant. Find possible values of k if the equation has 2 equal roots.
4, Given x=6 is a root of the equation x2+px+24=0. Determine value of p and hence find the other root. (p=-10 / x=4)

I bought a HD4850 in about 1 years ago and loads of artifacts happened in almost all latest games such as Dragon Age, Prototype, Assasin's Creed and Crysis Warhead. Does my GPU has busted? If it is then what should I do? Should I change my GPU or Crossfiring it with another HD4850? (Do you think it will solve artifacts problem?).
