Replacing my gf car, suggestion

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to replace my old Myvi 1.3 Gen 1 facelift (which I’ve handed over to my girlfriend as her daily driver for work and weekly trips between KL and Seremban).

Currently, I drive a CX-5 2022, so I’m not really looking for another SUV. I’m exploring a few options and would love to hear your thoughts, especially regarding safety, fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and driving enjoyment (my gf will still use it however I’ll use it for township errands and occasional drives).

My budget is around 70k, and I’m considering used cars from 2015 to 2019. Here are the models I’m looking at:

D-Segment:
Honda Accord 2.4 – The Honda Sensing feature really caught my attention.
Mazda 6 – Known for its sleek design and driving dynamics.

C-Segment:
Honda Civic (1.8 / 1.5) – A popular choice with a good balance of performance and practicality.
Mazda 3 Hatchback – Stylish and fun to drive, especially in hatchback form.

Crossover:
CX-3 – Not my top choice, but the power delivery and non-CVT transmission are appealing.

A-Segment:
BMW 120i F20 – The only BBA (BMW, Benz, Audi) on my list, mainly because of the RWD setup. However, maintenance costs are a concern.

If you were in my shoes, which one would you go for? I’d appreciate any advice or personal experiences with these models, especially regarding reliability, maintenance, and driving pleasure.

Selling off my car

Hi Sifu,

Am in the midst of selling of my car via some public platforms. Fortunately, there is a buyer interested to proceed with the purchase and he suggested to directly pay cash on the spot and handover to him for puspakom/jpj name change all by himself (by providing him car grant and owner IC). Will i get into any trouble if the buyer never perform the name change but to conduct unlawful act upon i handed over the documents to him?

Shouldn't be the jpn name change process to have both buyer and seller endorse such deal? He is from North Malaysia and am in KL, it is hard to make up an appointment to do all the process along.

Need advise ~~~~

Property Transfer from deceased to kids

Hi, seeking advice on the process on transfer property from a deceased to kids.
However, deceased's spouse (Husband) was declared bankruptcy years ago. Is there direct process to apply ownership transfer to kids and the husband giving up on the ownership?

current property fully paid and is under deceased's name.

Can that process be performed by the kids with Pejabat Pusaka Tanah Kecil without involving lawyer?

Grab Driver for Bankruptcy

Hi all grab sifus, planning to get a used bezza/saga for my dad to earn extra bucks for leaving around Seremban area. He has not been working for "decade" due to his bankruptcy background. As family, we suggest if he able to earn some living rather than just stay at home and wasting time (yes - I'm saying wasting time rather taking care for family). Don't just comment something like "why let ur dad work at his age, why not you financially take care for your dad or etc" (long story cut short - not going to discuss for being a good child in this topic. Rather to say - allow him to gain pride by own earning instead)

Just to check - is that still possible to earn ~2k nett income monthly if driving around Seremban town? Will it be a good move for us help him starts his grab ride? please advise - and highly appreciated your comments.

Adding amp to my Morel Maximo Comp

Hi all ICE sifu, was thinking to install an amp to power my direct HU --> morel maximo 6.5 component. These components were installed back ~3 years without a active amp powering it. Yes - i know morel speakers are always hunger for power and recently found a used amp from a online seller letting go his Colorful EF138 4 channels amp for good price (is a china amp but quite decent on power output). On the other hand, was sourcing to get something new from online and i found Kenwood KAC-PS704EX 4ch Hi Performance Amplifier with decent price + warranty.

Will using a 4 channel to bridge for more RMS for morel speaker. Do share me your thought on this: China Amp or Kenwood amp.

Hi All Sifuss, wanted to check the what is the flow on property belonging if the unit is belong to a death person. As for my understanding, if there is no will been declared by the death, his/her belonging will distributed 50% to spouse, another 50% goes to his/her children.

What will be the case if the death's spouse had declared bankruptcy, how do malaysia handle death's benefits during spouse bankruptcy period: will the 50% of ownership goes to somewhere else (pay to spouse's creditor)? or 100% goes to the death's kids.

Toilet - Floor uneven

hi all,

can i know how much will i need to fix uneven toilet that cause water flowing/draining failed. 9(20cm) x 11(20cm) toilet area. do i able to just apply another layer of tiles on top of existing one ?

Was in chat with a contractor doing waterproof layer on top of existing tiles, he claims that the additional layer is 5mm thickness and can cure water not flowing issue where no hacking required.

Any thought?? If to hack how much?, is not hack - what solution i have.
