I had had watched Cloverfield in the GSC Time Square. To my dismay, this movie is real good with good story line with bad recording method. You know that this movie is recorded with a Handy cam. After watching this movie i feel really dizzy. I wonder why this director have such idea. To my surprise, it is first in the top 10 list... =.="

External hard disk

i am using a notebook external hard disk. it is 3 months old and problems are here and there. the hard disk will spontaneously disconnected to the usb prot and the usb can detect the hard disk if i try to unplug and plug it back to the pc. What happen??

Rumors have it. Scanning your hard drive for error is not good for hard drive. So one had told me this before. Is it true? Why? How about scanning hard drive for viruses and defragment??

Cooler pad

I have juz used my friend's laptop today. his laptop is hot dispite he has his cooler pad ran. i would like to ask is the cooler pad really helps in cooling down the laptop? What if we don't use cooler pad? will it get even hotter?

I am very curious why the memory space has been included into the graphic card. Why do we have 512MB and 128MB. And what is DDR1, DDR2 and DDR3?? This questions are keep puzzling in my mind for many years and never get a clear answer . Many of my peers told me that the most expensive one is the best . I find this answer a bit lame. So can anyone tell me how to choose a good graphic card?

Currently i am planning to buy a new pc as my old one (Pentium III)is really running very slow already. Because of this, i don play games for many years. I want to use my computer for doing C++ and java programming. At the same time, i also use my computer to play some games like FIFA07 and need for speed Prostreet. What kind of cpu should i get to do all these things. Is AMD better or Intel? i am always confuse on how to choose a nice graphic card. What is the purpose to include the MB in the graphic card. My budget is 1300-1500.Thanks..

Laptop or Desktop

currently i am using a pentium III processor and i am planning to buy a new pc. I am puzzling whether to get myself a laptop or a desktop. I use to play game and download movie via the net. Can anyone give me some comment. To me, i prefer laptop because of it's mobility. In the same time i find that desktop have more benefits than laptop. Argghhh, i am really confuse. Which one should i get????? pls help me
