Iphone Warranty Coverage.

Hi All,
Currently I am in US and interested to buy an iphone 5s simply because even after conversion for an unlock set, it is still cheaper than MSIA/SG.
However, my main concern is the warranty claim as i do some searches, the results is still unclear.

Although the warranty is International, i come across that the Msia local authorized distributor might reject the warranty claims if anything happen to the US set.

Can anyone please advise me on this warranty thing?? Just for confirmation on my searches.

I bet these are the very few examples of what we always read when come across SG/Msia related threads.
Honestly, I got a mixed feeling and dont know how to describe these type of people.
Want to say they stupid but cant because going to SG is a good choice depending on which aspect a person look into..

However..If so eager wants to leave Msia, why dont leave asap?
Tons of jobs available at jobstreet,jobsdb,etc etc.
Why cant successfully get one? Incompetent?
Why all the talks only?

Besides currency and security, whats better there? =/
Money spending power definately bigger than Msia but to some certain extend only.
Cars and small hdbs are expensive. COE cost like 60k++ without the car cost yet.
One might say cars is not necessary in SG due to good public transportation provided.
True enough, punctual and tons of public transportation on the road but whats the use of it if it is always full or packed and you need to squeeze in with people daily and worse still sometimes not even get the chance to get a ride.
Unless one is not working on office hours schedule, do not mention only certain time it is so crowded.
Comparing comfort of a car to a sardin packed public transportation is like comparing apple to orange. Totally different item.

And seriously those who earning Sgd and keep comparing money value after conversion with people who earn Msia wages only should deserve a tight slap.

BOOL Data Type Issue!

Hi All !
Well, this is a simple question but i cant find any proper answer in the net.
Beside TRUE declared as 1 and FALSE as 0,
is there any other value that TRUE will be declared as TRUE > 1 ?

Im speaking of those that not self declared by user.

it is because if i were to make use of it in a loop, it is assume that it will loop 2 times only if it is declared as 1.
If it is more than 1, then definately it will loop more than 2 times.

loop eg:
for ( int i=0 ; i<=TRUE;i++)

Basically i look over the web it stated Tax Form and i look through Hasil website and cant find any of those form to download..

Dilemma in Making Choices : To Leap or Not to Leap

Hi!
Need some advise here. I recently got job offer and this is really hard for me to make decision..
The job been offered contains more pros comparing to stay in current company, just that something not right.
Perhaps anyone here can enlighten me of how to make decision on this matter.

New Job Offered
Pro
- MNC
- uses English more compared to chinese ( im english educated not knowing how to read chinese characters )
- greater exposure
- better job prospect

Cons
- start all over again
- salary increment compared to current approx 5% only
- probation period 6 months..

Current
Pro
- familiarize with basically everything (eg: environment, tasks )

Cons
- local chinaman company ( not sure if this considered cons, just to shows the difference between 2 jobs )
- consist alot of Chinese documentation

Furthermore, this is my first job and i learned most of my skills on applying my knowledge there.
By learning all the skills and accepting the new job offered ( which is a competitor to my current company ) seems not right.

Plz do advise which option i should take.

Hi all~,
Basically this topic is about quit current job ( 1st job ) which is Local Chinaman company & go for Accenture or give up on Accenture?

I tried to draw the pros n cons for each side though and i not sure which side will benefits me even after i list them out. Therefore, any seniors over here can give some advise regarding about this?

Accenture.

Salary :rm2.2k (Graduate Program, they say will increase after 3 months which i dunno how much is it )
Job Prospect : Better than local chiman company that im in now
Location : KL. ( im not from KL )

Local Chinaman Company

Salary : Higher than Accenture
Job Prospect : little bit?
Location : Hometown

Currently 1 year experience though. Both position = IT related

Therefore anyone can enlighten me which path should i take ? =(

UNABLE TO CONNECT TO INTERNET WITH DLINK

Hi all,
Previously i have a DLink modem which works perfectly fine.
However, since yesterday i try to connect to internet, what i get is limited internet connection.
Even load Google will fail.

Initially i thought something wrong with the ISP but after i try and error
i noticed that after i changed the dlink modem with the modem provided by streamyx, i able to connect to internet though
Then, i predict that my modem is faulty so i grab a new dlink modem.
With high hopes i installed the new modem, somehow it failed me with the same problem alike to my previous modem.
Therefore, can anyone enlighten me whats went wrong ?

hi there all ,

Im here to seek for advices though for my next move in my career.
Currently im working as a software developer in a local company for about 8 to 9 months already.
Everything seems interesting when i just entered but as day by day passed by, i feel bored with my current job.
Everyday from 8 to 5pm in the evening face laptop . Without fail, everyday process seems like a routine.
After for somewhile, i started to question myself, is IT field really suitable for me? Should i change field to something which is other than IT programming?
If i were to change my field, will it be too late for me? And even if i really decided to change, what course should i take if im more interested in business? MBA perhaps? . Currently im like a ship in the middle of the ocean not knowing which dirrection i should really move though .
Plz advise me how i should move my next step. I really do appreciate any advices/critics given.

hi all, can anyone kindly help me over here? i been seeing my code over and over again, and even test it for alot time, but even till now I still cant verify wats the error that cause my sqldatareader reads no data.

this page concept is like, the previous page is multiple records displayed in a gridview.
If anyone click on the hyperlink of one of the record, it will redirect to another page where it will display a page of data based on the record from database. And at this page itself, i included something like comment so that others can comment.
After comment, the page will postback to itself with querystring of the item id . However, when the page loads again, it cant retrieve data.
i check my querystring codes and it seems fine to me.

can anyone here enligten me where is my code error?

hi there seniors,
anyone can help me with my vb.net codes?
basically this is an update form where it will auto retrieve information upon pageload from MSSQL and user will be able to edit it and update it again.
however, i notice that for those i retrieve information from db, i cant seems to update it. There is no errors but however when i check the database after i update it, the value is still the previous one.

As one can see, i try to retrieve Name and NationalID and it is successful. But i try to update both of them, there seems no changes but others that i didnt not retrieve manage to update. hi there guys, i been searching through the web for hours and i cant get any solutions for this. So as for my last solution, i need help from you guys.

Currently im working on visual basic 6. It is connected to microsoft access.
I used datagrid to display all information in one of the table at the database.
However, beside retrieving data , i wanna do some process onto it at the datagrid.
The process i wanna do is to add a checkbox inside datagrid.
Every line of records will be a checkbox .
Whenever i tick on the checkbox, a data ( for example, email address ) from table will be retrieve as a text in textbox.

so, inorder to do that, i need to know the solution how to
add a checkbox inside datagrid

hi dere, since here hav many thread regarding dogs, wanna ask dog owners
how do you all train your dogs for not biting shoes?

i recently have an adult mongrel from relative,
everything is fine but just left out one of its bad habit and that is biting shoes.
even if our family chain it up , at the middle of the night it will release itself and go for the shoes.
therefore wanna ask any solution to train it not to bite again?
biting a shoes may cost rm100 gone @_@.
biting 10 shoes rm1000 gone le..

is this frequent disconnection caused by modem?
already 2 weeks i faced this =/
there is times where i turn on da modem, it wont dc for like one day but after switching off and on back
this problem occured again .
Anyone help me check whether my modem faulty? changing a modem might cause a big hole in my pocket T_T.
And if technician from tmnet wanted to change da black wire from telephone pole to my house
will i be charged? he said need rm70 -.-. i thought is their property and is free if there is any changes.
