XML from remote server

Hi guys out there, all the codemasters and newbies like me!

I have a question,

How to i retrive a xml file from a remote server,
as you all know, it can be retrived from localhost, or if both files are stored on the same server location.

Im using a html file to view the data from XML, anyone experienced it before?

p/s: Not using php.

Access Across Domains

For security reasons, modern browsers do not allow access across domains.

This means, that both the web page and the XML file it tries to load, must be located on the same server.

The examples on W3Schools all open XML files located on the W3Schools domain.

If you want to use the example above on one of your web pages, the XML files you load must be located on your own server.

Hi dudes, im currently undergoing a project.

I created a microcontroller probram (Rabbit microcontroller) to display a value on a web server page, and when button pressed, value decreased.

I need your expertise in letting me know to to display alert when a certain value reaches, for eg, i have the value of SW = 20. If value decreased to 10, display an alert.

The Value of the counter is calculated in a C code, where theres an XML file, and Html file, that retrieves the data from the XML file.
