hosting for newbies

Dear my man...

I just want to make a little project using around 10 domain name. for this early time. i want to pick up cheap hosting and later on, ill upgrade for the better one. So, I just to ask some opinion form you. If there is some of you have ever use cheap hosting like cubiex, baitulbytes, sepakuhosting, jomhosting or else..... and is that good idea if i take a hosting and park them all in 1 together....

2 CMS in 1 Domain name.

i need some help.

how to install 2 CMS inside 1 domain name. Such as install wordpress vs wordpress or wordpress vs joomla inside 1 domain name with subdomain.

example bro,

www.domainname.com = 1 CMS wordpress

www.sub.domainname.com = 1 CMS wordpress

Since fedora 12 is out, i wait to long for next release generation fedora 13. A lot of improvement between release 11 and 12. Gnome, kernel, also interface. And next, Fedora 13 will release soon. Beta release is so difference than stable one. So, keep waiting for stable release....

It's about to build centos 5.4 to become NT domain controller as well. I'm going to down to settle this. need backup.

[global] [homes] [profile] also make definition and permission by owner and group.

still did't work well.

Build up Ubuntu server

Ok bro, salam for muslim and greeting for non.

Here got some request to u all. So before get begin, i just want to tell some info about my sweat heart openSUSE.

I'm working with company that currently dealing with openSUSE 10 as a server and openSUSE 11.2 as a client. Other server is fedora 5 as a web server and other 2 is using windows 2K server. Everything work fine.

So bro, for my experiences working here, openSUSE work as a perfect server. Ok and realy ok. But some trouble with client, openSUSE just make the user who using it just got so far. Working P4 spec (desktop) until duo core and core 2 duo laptop.

Here some happend to me as well.

- Thunderbird & firefox make some sweat message like "Firefox is already running but is not responding ". This message is already fix it up.
- While bootup to openSUSE, stop at jexec service. This kittie also already fix.
- openSUSE 11.2 are not support some branded PC. Fail to start x server. Still on research to fix.
-else, no need to tell la....

So guy, i got an idea about to get a new girlfriend named ubuntu server 9.10. Need your help to make it success.

1. Setup
2. Configure as samba server
3. Nis & NFS support
4. squid

Already got cd installer ubuntu 9.10. Already install and stuck at terminal command. Still can't to access gui.

Since that i 'll create my web and blog, i just get confuse and should get some you all info about this ads. It's about to add ads at my web page and blog. Until now, i still not get detail info to convince me to select one of this all. So bro, please help me on this.....

First thing i want to ask is, it's available to me as Malaysian people to get this business ads. e.g Google AdSense.

Second, what's exactly method they gonna pay us. And on which currency as well.

Third, which ads is effectively for blog or web that for IT & computer title.

And last one is, how long we gonna wait for they pay us (period).

Need your help. I just get a hosting today. I just a beginner, try to learn something about web. My hosting is using Cpanel, and i don't know how to manage my own web to get active and view on net.

I just upload my work (save as htm), using MS frontpage. Now the file name is index.htm. I saved the file inside file manager -> Web Root (public_html/www) folder. My question is, how to get this page active and available to view.

Yo bro, wassapp...... Since my boss said that, he want to upgrade our distro, or improve our company system, i just get blur2.

Need your suggestion, what kind of distro is might be the greatest one to use on my company system. Currently my company is using suse 9.1. Is been easier to setup on yast, such as NIS & NFS. That kind a things is important to connect to my company server.

I just try ubuntu gutsy and linuxmint cassandra to do the testing for replace the suse 9.1 that using at my company, and the result is #\hampeh\betol.....

Important things = NIS & NFS or someting is simmilar ....
