Hi, I have just returned Malaysia, graduated, while waiting for the Medical Council to approve my license which takes 1 to 2 months.

While I am at home, waiting, I would be willing to help anyone who is struggling in Alevels/SPM

1) Just to give you some of my background, I was a Physics and Add math tuition teacher for 2 years before entering medical school. Was a straight As student.
2) Student(s) must be motivated. It is not realistic to complete the whole syllabus in 1-2 months. However, I here to guide and give some direction. If you are not motivated, please don't waste your time, nor mine. I have the right not to take you as my student.
3) Student(s) must come to my house for tuition. Cheras, Taman Muda area.
4) RM 15 per person per hour (in groups, min 2, max 5 people in a group) or RM 80 per person per hour (one on one). 2 hours per session. All student MUST be motivated!
5)Whatsapp me: 010 505 4955 your weak subjects and chapters so I have time to prepare and refresh my memory before helping you.
6) Application closes after 30 Sept 2013

What next? .. after SPM or STPM?

I know.. i post this kinda late, when actually SPM/STPM students had already decided what they wanted to do for their future career.

I understand that eventho after many advices from your school counselor to stick to the profession that you are interested in, but we stubornly hunt for the job which pays more and less stress.

The cnn.com had studied and list down 50 best jobs in USA which based on Job growth in next 10 year and Salary.

But this is website gives us a some guidelines.

note: being a Physician assistant ( ranked 5) is better than being a physician/surgeon ( ranked 30)

and Physician/Surgeon, i believe, they are refering to specialist. not normal MBBS. so think twice if you plan to take up medicine..

ps: Physical Terapies ( known in malaysia as physioterapist ) are reallly really really lacking in malaysia and it is ranked 12 in the US. another option... to study tho.

Our country lack of doctor?

There are few remarks from the member who said that our country is lacking of doctor.
I believe many share the same view because few years ago, we read from the newspaper that we need to import foreign doctors.

However please read this:

The standards of these universities are very different and to ensure uniformity, the MMA urges the setting up of a uniform, fair assessment examination system for all medical graduates intending to practice in the country.

It is important to note that lacking of doctor only applies to rural area.

choose medicine is really a bad option if you are financially ambitious. Working in rural area doesnt gain much money. Neither in the urban area coz u need to compete with many other doctor.

I am new to linux.

I just installed ubuntu and I had my windows XP in my computer at the same time. My computer is booted by GRUB.

I however decided to remove Ubuntu and install Mandriva.

I search for HOW-TO-DO-IT using google and found out some suggestion like using Window's XP to clear the boot master.

I dont have my window XP CD with me now. I just wish to know if there is other way?
Like the windows way, C: format... ?something like that...

please help. thanks
