Unlock Android's phone password

Hi all,

Would like to ask if there's any way to unlock an Android (Huawei Nova 2i, to be exact) password on the lock screen without losing data?
Asking this as my aunt has just passed away suddenly last week and we would like to access her phone to inform her friends who aren't still aware of her passing and to see if there's any info on her phone.

But as of now, we can't access her phone as none of us in the family knew her password.
Found a few softwares like iMyFone LockWiper and etc, but all of these requires her phone to be wiped off / factory reset.
If there's a need to reset factory data, then it wouldn't be meaningful already as the data on her phone would be lost.

FormFile in .NET Core 3.1?

Hi all,

Would like to ask if anyone has encountered the following situation?

I'm doing a migration for one of my .NET Core which was using .NET Core 2.2 previously, would like to migrate it .NET Core 3.1.
However, after changing the reference projects, I realise that .NET Core 3.1 doesn't have the Microsoft.AspNetCore.Http namespace which was previously present in .NET Core 2.2.

Can any sifus point me to where this Microsoft.AspNetCore.Http is located in .NET Core 3.1?

Hi all,

I am at wits end on this issue here. My desktop will suddenly freezes from time to time...but I couldn't find a way to go around it.
Ctrl + Alt + Delete, mouse clicks...nothing works, CPU light is not blinking like its doing something.

Called "wmic diskdrive get status" in cmd...doesn't seem to have anything wrong either.
All turns out to be ok...

Just completely frozen out...always needed to force shut down.
Any idea what might be the cause?

Difference in print preview control

Hi all,

I am working on a module for printing and of course, print preview.

However, I am puzzled over an issue, in which the print preview control behaves differently from PC to PC, though it's running on the same code.
Was wondering if anyone has encountered similar issues?

Some of the users gets this...which is all nice and good.

But, some users got this...preview text got truncated.

Would like to know if any of you has used Visual Studio Live Share before? Did any of you encountered issue when using the feature?

Using Live Share behind a company proxy server in particular.

I have been trying to setup the feature, manage to host the session...however, I was not able to get my colleagues to join.
Getting an error..."Failed to join a workspace. Unable to connect to host in "Direct" mode. Verify you and the host are online. If so, switch to "Auto" or "Relay" and retry."

Tried all 3 options in fact... but still to no avail.

I am new to the security aspect of web applications.
Recently, I am involved in a project in which some of the security scan results indicates that the application is susceptible to server-side request forgery. (SSRF)

The recommendation from the security scan results are to defined a whitelist of allowable character which contains the user-defined data when building URI.

However, I am not sure on how to proceed on from here on. What should I do next?
How should I implement a whitelist and have every ajax call to check against the whitelist?

getting printer settings from printers

hi all,

i am currently trying to build up a preview in c#.

i would like to get the printer settings for each printer available, get the lowest dimension available and assigning it to the PrintPageEventArgs on PrintPage event.

However, i have no clue on how to obtain the printer settings and the page settings.
So far, I have tried using PrinterSettings.InstalledPrinters, which I can only obtain the name of the printers available but not the printer settings.

Any advice on how can I do so?

hi,

i am looking into buying a jumper battery pack.
did some search and was expecting those available from those car workshop like a toolbox kinda size.

but,a lot of those powerbank type of jumper battery came up, was a bit skeptical about their reliability. heard some says must disconnect within 30s after jump start otherwise...

was wondering if anyone have any experience with those type of batteries??
and what are the choices i can look into??

qvod keeps connecting

hi there, i have been experiencing difficulties to download movies in qvod for the past 2 weeks or so.
have anyone else encounter the same issue?

the player does detects the video...but just keeps "connecting". it's not downloading anything at all.

i recently installed qvod on my newly formatted comp and some problem arises...pls help.

the qvodterminal.exe seems to encounter a problem every 5-10 mins and prompt me to send error report.

hey guys, i am having my normal 512kbps package at rm66, and since i m a uni student now....tot of switching to cool unipack which offers rm53 for the same speed. i hv a few enquiries:

1. if i switch, will the current free home to home calls applies??
fyi, my hse using rm48 package. *just wanna make sure whether the free home calls is bonded with the main line or the streamyx*

2. do i nid to cut off my current package and wait for a month to reapply using the same line or just go tmpoint and tell them to upgrade from my current package??
