open an education consulting related business

Hi ppl,

I would like to know if I need to get any specific license from Ministry of Education in order for me to run an education consulting related business here in malaysia.
I tried to call to MOE and he said all these studies related matters should go straight to MOE and should not go through a 3rd party i.e. education consulting company.

Hi ppl,

I have a foreigner friend who likes to start up travel agency in KL.
He found Malaysians to help him with the business already.
However, he is unsure with the procedures and things.. (well... the same goes to me as well... I DON"T KNOW TOO)

Would like to get some advice here...
he should go to SSM to register for business or register for company?
According to the requirement for travel agency, he needs to get the "Sdn. Bhd." at the name..

My niece is currently 12 years old studying in local government school Primary 6.
And her family is planning to send her to study Year 8 in international school after this.
Any international school in Malaysia that is good in moulding a student in terms of academic and extra-curricular activities?

I would like to know if any of you here know any services offered to help a student to build up his/her portfolio?
i.e. something like writing down the achievements, taking pic of student with awards.
So that, the student can show this portfolio for international school entrance?

Hi ppl,

Really need ur help....

My fren (non-malaysian) is interested in opening a boutique in Malaysia....
however, there are a lot of what and how questions in her mind..
need ur help me to solve it... .

1) how to start a boutique shop in Malaysia for a non-Malaysian??? (I tried to call Malaysia 2nd Home programme, Kementerian Perdagangan, SSM, their answers are the same ---> call the other agency.... )

2) how much does it cost for advertisement to be done online??? for example, to get a banner in forum???

3) if we start online shop first, do we have to register for business? if yes, how?

4) will import tax be imposed if we are going to get our clothes from China or Korea or Japan? if yes, how much?

but the line is damn slow....
