which ISP?

I'll be moving to bandar sunway, got a nice apartment.

Now i'm wondering which internet service to get? back at home i'm still using streamyx(because of the discount package) although streamyx connection can vary alot.

I was thinking of maxis broadband or maybe Wimax, which ever is good/affordable. Though none of malaysia ISP are any good...

since im bringing my pc along, i can only go for at least 1mbps(including modem) unless i can go wireless with my desktop, that would save me from paying phone bills...

any advice?

ps. i only know those 3 services, are there any other ISP in malaysia?
i dont know where else to ask this.

My old pc doesnt display anything on the monitor, i already check the graphic card and swap with another computer, didnt display anything(this problem happen just a day after. Its a very very old graphics card, but thats not the problem since it was working just yesterday
so must be the graphic card itself. But i tried swapping different card from another pc and still wont display(theres no problem with the monitors). So i have no idea whether its the mother board or something else. I've given up on repairing it.....I just wanna throw it away or sell it.

Ok I bought new pc with XP pro installed

I wanna know the risk of swapping my MAXTOR IDE HDD from my old pc to my new PC, if there isnt, just removing the old HDD device manager from my old pc and install on my new one is it?

btw, my motherboard is Gigabyte S-series EP35-DS3, I think it support both SATA and IDE. My primary HDD is seagate SATA which is already plug, and should I just plug my IDE HDD as slave or master for secondary HDD?

my streamyx connection continuously failing(DSL and lan lights disapeared) every now and then I have to restart it every time when the lights dissapear(usually happen around less than 1hr). I dont possibly thing its overheating because I always had it on for quite some time until this happened. Or perhaps over-used of bandwidth causing it to stop?

anyone with this problem and found a solution?
