Looking for Admin Assistant, will be working in a established big company with EPF, Socso, Medical Benefits, etc.

Salary: RM2000 and above, depends on qualification and experience
Job Details: Key in data, payment follow up via calls, basic office works such as answering calls, photocopy, scan and general email works
Full Time: Monday to Friday, Alternate Saturday (One Saturday working, another Saturday rest)
Time: 9am-6pm, every Friday lunch time 2 hours
Venue: Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Requirements:
- Age 18 and above
- Minimum SPM
- Malaysian only
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin
- Prefer with admin experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office

Need Advise about Quantity Surveyor Service

I was engaged contractor for small renovation works for my bungalow house (2.5 storey) in March 2013. The small renovation works included change floor tiles and waterproof for one unit 2nd floor bathroom, one unit ground floor bathroom and one unit 1st floor balcony, change floor tiles for staircase and paint whole house with Nippon Paint 5 Years (exterior and interior), total cost is RM30k. My house total built up about 3500 square feet.

The works was completed in July 2013 but there is water leaking issue on 2nd floor bathroom and 1st floor balcony, and also painting quality for some area, I complaint to the contractor then he promised that he will fix the problem but he drag until now and the problems still there. Recently he told me that is not his problem and he refused to fix it so I made filling to consumer tribunal. On 1st hearing the Tribunal told me to get the Quantity Surveyor Report and the QS also need to become witness for 2nd hearing.

The tribunal tried to ask us to settle but the contractor refused to return part of money or help me to fix the problems, so I have no choice but choose to continue the legal process. According to the quotation, I want to claim back at least RM13k from him to ask other contractor to fix the problems.

May I know how much the Quantity Surveyor will charge for this kind of service? And can I claim back the cost from the contractor?

Please help to advise me. Thank you.

Hey, recently I just tendered for Registration Number WXR 6628, but JPJ told me after 7th Dec 2012 only can register it, but my new car already arrived, so I just bought another running number to use.

Can I sell back the WXR 6628 number? I tender it with RM500, thanks.

Property or Car?

Dear bro and sis, think to post this topic in kopitiam there, but I think can post here too coz related to property, and I believe I can get better opinion here

Ok, the story is like this, recently I just survive from an accident, my Honda City total lost but luckily I am survive without any injury, this accident affect some of my plans, one of it is I plan to invest a property in JB area around end of the year, but now I have to make the choice.

Scenario:

Already have one landed property in Klang Valley for own stay
Cash in hand: 60k
Nett monthly available income (after deduct all the commitments): 5k

A. buy a 2nd hand car about 20k with cash (any car recommend?), use for 3 years only change car, use the rest of the money to pay deposit for a house/condo around 400k in JB or Penang area (which better?). The reason why this option in my consideration is..in 3 years I can build up the NCD to buy new car with better insurance discount, and I can save alot of cash because without installment and the depreciation of this used car should be very minor. The property which I invest can sold 3 years later to support me to buy a new and better car too (or even buy with cash?)

B. buy a new car about 100k with 10% downpayment and 9 years loan, use the rest of the money to pay deposit for a house/condo, not so different from option A but I need to bear more commitments and cash flow become lesser.

C. buy a 250k range of car with heavy loan..this option come in my mind because of my own materialistic mind >< think that with luxury car then can have better image. But if I go for this option, I have to temporary put on hold my property investment..otherwise I will use up all my cash flow for installments

Of coz there is one more option..I am an Australia PR, no need buy any car or property here but use the money to start a new life there but don think I will go for this option since I decided to give up the PR.

I just purchased one of the Bromelia unit last month. Anyone purchased a unit in BSC?

I think by now you all sure received the letter to ask for the second 10% already, haha..

Mari-mari, get to know each other first before the project is completed in 2013 xD
