            <description>Hi... ppl out there...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone know JNA (Java native access)? &lt;br /&gt;How to by &amp;quot;pass by reference&amp;quot; or &amp;quot;pass by pointer&amp;quot; mechanicism&lt;br /&gt;to pass back string or array of string from DLL function to Java caller?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;for example,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;my DLL function is like:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;/*  assume caller prepare memory space that will pass in to getX function&lt;br /&gt; *  to store output value.&lt;br /&gt; */&lt;br /&gt;DLLEXPORT void getX(char * s);&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thx in advance.</description>
