[WTA]Microsoft Office 2010 KMS

Guys,

Recently I acquired Office 2010 Standard Volume for 5 licenses. I have 2 options for activations which is KMS and MAK. I'm planning to deploy for KMS since its sounds easier for the long run but I want to know how the situation below affect the licensing:

- I wanna deploy 1 office into PC to test.Then I deploy another 4 license to activate(iinm min 5 PCs installed to activate). Next, if I uninstall the tested one and installed to another PC, will the KMS server identify it as a 6 hence blocked that PC to activate until next 180 days?

I want to resort MAK as a last solution since it only have 50 activation counts only and I'm x interested to have a long boring session for renewal via phone later on

I hope sifu2 here can me to clarify this before I'm getting into problems later on.

Thanks

Need advice with VGA extender using for projector

Hola LYNers,

I having a problem with my Projector(Dell 1409X) wouldn't pickup any feed from laptop when I'm using VGA extender(convert to LAN cable).However, when I'm using straight vga cable to laptop, it works like a charm..Here's the scenario I tested found out not working:

1. Laptop ==VGA==[VGA EXTENDER/SENDER]----------LAN Cable(10m length)--------[VGA EXTENDER/RECEIVER]==VGA==PROJECTOR
2. Laptop ==VGA==[VGA EXTENDER/SENDER]----------LAN Cable(1m length)--------[VGA EXTENDER/RECEIVER]==VGA==PROJECTOR
3. Laptop ==VGA==[VGA EXTENDER/SENDER]----------LAN Cable(1m length)--------[VGA EXTENDER/RECEIVER]==VGA==[VGA SWITCHER]==VGA==PROJECTOR
4. Laptop ==VGA==[VGA EXTENDER/SENDER]----------LAN Cable(10m length)--------[VGA EXTENDER/RECEIVER]==VGA==[VGA SWITCHER]==VGA==PROJECTOR

i already contacted dell service support and they advice me to use some sort of vga repeater to boost the signal.

All scenario above produces something this message; "Projector cannot view this resolution. Please configure your computer to 1024x768".

I already did that and retry the scenario above but the error still came up.Anyone experience this such problem?
I really need to settle this before thinking to shell the money for other model. BTW, this projector still working if using normally.

Help for graphic upgrade on Optiplex 380 Slim

Hello all,

Currently, One of my staff received a new PC for his Autocad Inventor work which is Dell Optiplex 380 Slim which makes me when the graphic spec was onboard. So He requested me to find suitable graphic card and I'm thinking to suggest Quadro FX380 which quite cheap nowadays and suits with his work line(So far I don't see he's designing a landscape or big e-pen in Dubai, Just a few containers and vessels ).

So, after searching and searching most of the shops dun have this model and suggests geforce product line(GTX250 or GTS250 to be specific). I afraid the stock PSU on that desktop will not enough juice to run this card(based on spec, the PSU runs 235Watt ). + the slim size which limits certain card can be use.

Anyone know what good card especially quadro line compatible with Optiplex 380 slim model? I will consider geforce if the quadro model hard to find.

thanks

Can my power supply drive this card?

Recently, my friend let me borrow his XFX 8600GT fatal1ty card as he upgraded to a better one. I installed to my PC and pressed on and screen blank ..

I tried my own gc it can boot with no problem. so the problem may not related to mobo or ram. I suspect it could be my power supply not enough juice to drive this card. Is dat true? I afraid it turned faulty.

BTW, this is my rig spec:

Pentium dual core E2140
Asus P5GC-MX/1333
Kingston 1GB DDR2-667
Seagate 80GB
DVD-ROM
Enlight HP2-6500P (googled around but I cannot found this model anymore. On sticker it was marked 01/2003)

here's my PSU spec

+5V      20A      200W
+3.3V   30A      99W
+12V    27A      324W
-5V       0.8A     4W
-12V     1A        12W
+5VSB  2A        10W

thanks
