Almost conned by hp shop

Last night I went to hp shop at Centre Square, Sungai Petani for buying Nokia N97 mini.
I go to the shop that I bought my E71 before, and ask him for original N97 mini and he quote me the price RM1330.
After a few minute holding and checking the hp, I agreed to buy and pay him directly by CC.

He take more than 30min to install some app., so I talk with him about hp and asking him from which company he give me this hp, Avaxx of Zitron.
He told me that Zitron already bankrupt and now new authorize distributor is 'Original Concept'. I'm very surprise since I never heard about this company and Zitron is close.

I'm asking him again and he said don't worry this is original unit, then I think maybe I'm not updated about this, so OK...
Once hp already installed with app. and he give to me, suddenly I remember about Lowyat forum, advising when buying original hp.
So, I ask him to open battery cover and checked for hologram sticker inside then I found this.

I told him that this is AP set from COMSAT (maybe), and warranty seal already broken, but he still insist this is original unit. Then I told him that tomorrow morning I will send this hp for registration at Nokia Care, so should be OK if this is original unit. Suddenly he change story and he said can give me another unit from Avaxx...WOW....WTF

Luckily I read Lowyat forum and save me from this trouble. So guys, what you all think about this incident. this hp is original or not ? If this is AP set and he claim as original set, I will lodge complaint to KPDN and let them to investigate. What I concern is if another people buying hp and this thing happen. I'm save now but others who will buy this hp at that shop ?? How ????

Now I'm happy with my new N97...
