DVDROM not detected by Windows 7

Hello guys, as title, i cant make my computer to detect my DVDROM. BIOS is able to detect it, so i guess is a registry problem. I could not find Upper and Lowerfilters in the registry. (Strange that i found this on my sis comp but just not mine ), so the deleting upper/lower filter doesnt work as i cant find them. SATA is in IDE mode already btw. So how to fix?

Thanks.

How to check my phone UMTS frequency?

I just bought a w995..but its w995a (north america) and i started to worry about the 3G/HSPDA...because obviously Malaysia 3G is using 2100 whereas North amerca is using 1900. But just now i tried Video calling my friend, both of us are using Digi. The video call succeeded, i could see my friend and he could see me too. So i just want to confirm, is the w995a just caused by the firmware reflash(maybe by the seller) or digi is using both 1900/2100? How to check my phone UMTS frequency?

How to disable Digital Driver Signature

I am using Vista 64bit and lately i bought a USB wireless adapter. During my installation, it showed that the driver is not signed, therefore installation was aborted. So i tried to disable the digital siganture during bootup (by pressing F8 during start up), and the installation could be finished. But after restart...the USB wireless adapter could not be started. I need to disable the signature signing to start it again. So my question is, is there a way to disable this thing permanently?
