The Entrepreneurial Trend Among Youths Today

Should we, the young generations, just be concentrating solely on our studies? Is studies the sole answer to all our success? Don't you think 2 much emphasis has been put on just study, study, study; neglecting the ever-important soft skills and streetwise skills that we ought to equip ourselves to survive especially in today's ever-competitive world?

I, myself, am not saying that studies are not important (Heck, I'm still studying in a local Uni). It's just that to me, there's so much more out there to learn and I strongly feel that the age where one can just depend on one's cert to secure one's success is long gone...

Hence, this forum is started based on this mindset. How much are we willing to change ourselves in order to change our futures? Hmm, looking at the title of this forum now, I don't quite see the linkage though. But this is what I'm trying to say: Just take a look at the world around us. Haven't you noticed the ever increasing number of "young entrepreneurs" making their ways in our society today??? Coz, like it or not, this IS the current trend today. Looking at the declining salary rate among employees and the continuous retrenchment by companies, do you honestly believed that your future will be 'guaranteed' or 'absolutely secured' by just being an employee, a.k.a. just depending on your book knowledge???

As such, I open this forum for discussions: What is your willingness to change? What it takes to change your life? How to take charge of your own life? Is studies THE sole and ultimate answer to success? etc. etc. etc. (You guys know what i mean). Let's also give our tributes to all our peers out there who bravely took their first steps into shaping their own futures. Right on man~~~!!!
