hey guys when i was dismantling my desktop for packaging,i notice there was white residue on me 6950 pcb.i thought it was dust but i didnt move when i cleaned it. so could it be mold? its not even a month of usage yet

Hey guys. I have Win 7 pro oem installed and theres a problem that keeps on frustrating me. Its hard to explain but I'll try my best. The thing is, every programs seems to de-click itself. Like when I'm typing something on say M word or the internet, the program would de-click and i would have to click the program again to continue typing. Also in some games it result in it constantly minimizing after a minute. It happens uniformly like every minute or so. Another way to describe it is that if i click on a program, the window would be dark indicating that the program is clicked. if i clicked on the desktop, the window would be lighter. So every minute or so, the window would become light as though i have clicked the desktop. Is there a way to fix this? Its really frustrating. And I have already installed windows twice and also installed SP1. Also happens before i installed SP1. thanks

Ok, I just build my pc (check specs at my sig), everything worked great, everything was fine for about 2 hours of use then all of a sudden it powered off (no BSOD or anything). Tried pressing power button, no fan spin, no led lit except the TPU led due to it being disabled and the red power switch at the bottom of the motherboard. Its like there is no power or something. Help me guys. Could there be a short in my system? could the psu die or something?

Hey guys, my exams just finished so I finally have free time. I'm gonna build a pc with the following parts:

i5 2500k + hyper 212+
Asrock Z68 E4
MSI GTX 560 ti hawk -> but I will change it to the kepler version of the GTX 570 next year, so for now its like a stop-gap
CM 912 Advanced.
Seasonic X-760/Corsair AX750

So i got a few questions that I hope you can answer and help me with my build.

1. Im gonna buy 2 Scythe gentle typhoon. 1 as an extra, the other for the side panel. Now I'm wondering, with my case in mind should the side fan be an exhaust fan or blow air into the case? Is it better to make it an exhaust so the air can be sucked out or blow air in to increase the positive pressure inside the case and thus more hot air comes out of the rear and top fan?

2. How many usb 3.0 can the mobo connect to? i mean when i look at the pictures, i can see only 1 usb 3.0 port on the mobo. the case itself have a usb panel whereas the mobo comes with a free usb panel. That equals to 2 panels/2 connectors. im guessing i can only connect one out of the two right since i can only see 1 port on the mobo? or can i connect the usb via SATA3 with an adapter etc? is there any way for me to use both panels?

3. I'm currently studying overseas, Egypt to be precise (horrible part selection) and im wondering, can i bring the psu with me in the cabin luggage? the case and other stuff will go into cargo but im thinking to bring psu in the cabin to save space on the cargo weight as i have lots of things to bring. is it safe? is it allowed? i don't want to be held back by secrurity at klia or other airports thinking its a bomb or something. have anyone tried it before?

What does it mean? I don't quite understand how it works. For example, if a telco says that a call to another telco is 40sen per min, but then in small print it says that adjacent and non-adjacent voice calls are RM1.50sen per min, then how much am I actually charged? btw, if this is asked in the wrong place, can the mods please move it to the right place? thanks
