TP Link wireless modem router TD-8960N

I'm now using the above said modem and while it doesn't give me any problem through LAN connections but my wireless has been very unstable. All my wifi devices will disconnect frequently during daily usage and sometimes it could detect the signal yet unable to connect to it. I've restarted the modem and reset it back to default settings.

I'd like to know if the modem is faulty as I only bought it 6 months ago or there are any settings I can do to it??

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm a totally newbie in hardware build so I dropped by a PC shop to ask for a full CPU installation (excluding keyboard, mouse and display unit). I only use my CPU for normal browsing and casual gaming. Would love to try out Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 tho.

I'd like to know if their quotation is fair enough for a rig or if I can get any cheaper elsewhere. Any guidance will be very much appreciated.

I'm clueless in having all these fixed up so the total for the rig plus workmanship and one-year warranty will be around RM2k.

BB Tour 9630 BIS problem.

I just bought this second-hand BB Tour 9630 from a second hand dealer.

Point being, There's this 'Activation Required' on my screen replacing the 'Maxis' at the top. I still can call as usual but couldn't browse using BIS. I've changed the sim card and it works well on other HP.

I've tried using the ##000000 but it straightaway dialed the code instead of requesting. I don't understand.

And the browser won't work unless I activate it. So how do I activate it?

I'm trying to extend my laptop screen to my LG LCD monitor.

I can use one of one them at a time to act as my monitor but not for extending desktop or duplicate it.

My lappie & the monitor go blank right after I choose extend/duplicate. I couldn't do anything on it other than restarting.

Any idea?

Expanding my blog width

As titled above, I have problem in expanding my blog width HERE. Currently, IMO, the blog post is too centred and as a result all my previous posts with wide photos are distorted and cramped into small spaces, which resulted in unpleasant view.

I've been trying to play with the CSS code but to no avail, I simply couldn't adjust. Therefore, I'd like to ask a favour from all of you to help me to expand the width of the blog content into 100%. Do tell me which part of the CSS I should do some adjustments!

File import error

I backup my files previously using phpadmin, as I need a transfer from US hosting to Malaysia hosting.

After the transfer, I imported back the SQL files, there were errors in a few lines, the restoration wasn't successful.
Now that I couldn't retrieve my old posts, comments, and etc....

So what should I do in order to restore my files successfully?

Recently I did some check up for my blog, and found out that the loading time for it reached about more than 10 seconds, that's a pretty staggering figure for a blogger. I googled for some solutions, did some tweaking, yet, it did not improve.
These are what I did to reduce my blog loading time:

1. Remove unnecessary widget.
2. Put on 'READ MORE' tag to reduce loading time for pictures.
3. Reduce number of posts on the main page.

Hereby, I would like to request for a few solutions that can improve my blog loading time significantly.

Well, seems many things had happened during the 4 hours I went for my bed.

Though as I think it is so ridiculous for someone to actually find me to close a thread that is meant for him, I still practice democracy. And as a senior member, I should act fair and set an example.

And so, after reading through the pages, I decided to enquire SPM-mers opinions regarding who should own this thread.
Even though this sounds childish, well, we should act fair.

So guys, please leave your comments on should I close this thread.
If there are majority who agree to this, I would not hesitate to close it for the sake of not creating any trouble.

[WTA] FujiFilm camera problem.

I bought the Fujifilm Finepix Prosumer S9500 a few days ago from a forumer.
The camera was in great condition and no problem.

Once I got back home, I inserted the xD card into the camera and began snapping.
After shots around 100++, the camera display hang in there, and I heard sounds like faulty machine.
I took out the batteries and inserted it back, nothing happen!

I gave it to the shop for rectifying the problem and they tell me that they are going to restart it 'professionally', I don't understand this?!
What do they mean by starting it 'professionally'?
Should this be considered as a faulty cam?

Hope forumers can help as I really like the camera, even though I used it for a few days...

I have been engaging with this seller since Friday, planning to buy his Fujifilm Finepix 6500 for a price that we both parties agreed on.
I have told him not to reserve the item for me for the moment as I will only confirm the COD on Saturday, 20/9/08.

On the morning of Saturday, I sent him PMs and SMSes and he did reply me confirming the COD is going to be done on the evening.
During afternoon, I sent him a SMS to seek a confirmation of the location and time for COD.

Surprisingly, he didn't reply my SMS and even calls from me! I keep calling and SMS-ing before realise that this guy could be not interested to sell anymore. This seller, pulling out from last minute is certainly an irresponsible seller as until now, I have no replies from him regarding this matter. Not even an apologize.

It's ok if you don't want to sell, at least let the buyer know. Not pulling out at the last minute!

I don't expect to deal with him anymore, and so do you guys too. Sigh, such an irresponsible seller.

Throughout these few years, where internet has became a platform for people to gain fame, popularity and some even became web entrepreneur at a young age! People like Timothy Tiah (Boss of nuffnang) has successfully grabbed the golden chance and utilizing the population on web to gain a share of the market. Seriously, I admire him, as a youth entrepreneur.

But as I explore deep into my thoughts, why do I need to admire him where I have equal chance to stand tall like him?
I prefer some challenges in life and indeed I have considered to utilize nowadays facilities like the availability of internet to become successful. I know it isn't easy and it needs time and effort. But I'm still young and have a long long road ahead! And so, I begin to think on what make really stands out amongst these established ideas.

Two is always better than one. Since LYN has so many bloggers which always come with critical thinking , I decided to create this topic as to allow us to discuss the ideas to achieve fame through internet, not just fame, but success too. We have top bloggers in LYN like goldfries, vkeong, icalyvn etc...*Sorry if I left you out!*

Please do not limit yourself to only something related to blogging platform, but be open-minded and think out of the box! Suggest some ideas where we could use it and promote it to fellow Malaysians! Something like youthsays.com, digg.my, kawanster.com.my, nuffnang.com.my, advertelets.com All these are people who have critical thinking and always explore the opportunity on Internet.

A few of my readers told me that there are ads that pop up whenever they surfed my blog. How was that possible?
I have no idea where to find those files. I tried using both IE7 and firefox and detected ads on it. FYI, I didn't install any of these spams and would like to get rid of it asap! Any suggestion on how to solve this problem? Anyone encounter it when you surf my blog?
