Hi everybody! Am planning on building a decent desktop good enough to play starcraft 2 as my laptop just died (xps m1530) LOL looking for a budget at about 1.3k tops including monitor. Is it possible?

Am going down to singapore end of the year and prolly gona stay there for a year if all things go well hence just getting a rig thats enough to play this game would be fine. And is bringing a cpu down a viable option?

Thanks in advance guys
how good exactly is a mac?

hi all! im considering on purchasing a laptop to do mostly graphic work which mainly involves adobe photoshop and illustrator. yes yes i know the leading lappy to get is a mac right? but just how good is it exactly? in terms of durability, customer service, performance..my budget is about 3k to 5k. this laptop is mainly for a family member of mine who currently studies in UK..whereby im still here in msia ( sigh..) lol

well i did come across the dell studio..but then my friend just told me it has many problems for example it breaks down alot and stuff like that. So if i was going to purchase this lappy in the UK, would the MAC be a better option? coz MAC there is like really big so maybe any problems would be dealt with efficiently.

but if i purchase the MAC there, theres no option for pirated software and stuff like that in terms of the small small programs..so yeaa

however it all boils down to durability and reliability. hopefully u guys can shed some light on this

http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/p...en&s=dhs&~ck=mn

sry but im a bit blur..just wondering wat does the RM2000 instant cash redemption mean.

does it mean that the rm 6999 is after the rm 2000 cash redemption or before? coz if its before..then the actual price ill be paying for is rm 4999 rite? LOL sry but im a bit blur liao..too sleepyT_T

Online Price RM 6,999
Price incl. RM2,000 Instant Cash Redemption and Delivery
Expires on 25/02/2008

but this was their statement..so that means the actual price is rm 6999 or rm 4999 ( after the cash redemption lol) sry yea =(

hey guys i was wondering which dell to choose from..well for me it boils down to 3 choices (unfortunately i cant get the xps m1730 coz its outta my budget but it looooooooooooooksss sure as hell good

neways..which dell should i choose from? the inspiron 1420 or inspiron 1520 or inspiron 6400?

i plan to be using it for my college work and all (normal work like typing, surfing net, chatting, listening to music and maybe a bit of games here and there but of coz not those high end games like crysis )

well i know the 1420 and 1520 are not so different..their processors are basically the same but is that extra RM600 worth it to get the 1520 as compared to the 1420? ( based on the dell brochure i got)

and how do i order the dell laptops? i saw a dell outlet at midvalley..is that refurbished already or wat?

and lastly..are dell laptops reliable? coz i hear some ppl saying asus is the best laptop producers and this and that..just wanted to get some feedback from the dell users out there ^^

thanks in advance guyz
cheers~
