Need help in doing iframe

Recently, I am working on a club website. In the website, I am using the iframe from http://www.dyn-web.com/tutorials/iframes/.

The whole thing may sound complicated, but I hope sifus will try to understand what I mean.

[attachmentid=1460447]

Let's say now I have two pages: the first page is main page, the second page is equipments page. In the main page, I choose one of the equipment (let's say rope) under "Equipment" at the dropdown menu. So, it will link to the equipment page.

In the second page, I include all types of equipments at the submenu part (refer to the attachment picture). So when user click on one of the equipment, the description of the selected equipment will appear in the content part, where the iframe locates.

Now, here's the problem. Let's say both of the pages have different pictures at the image part. When user selects one of the equipment from the dropdown menu in the main page, the equipment page, which contains a different picture and the descriptions of the selected equipment, will appear. In another word, the equipment page is a fixed template, only that the image part and content part are varying. So, what shall I do so that when user clicks on the equipment from the dropdown menu in the main page, it will display the exact descriptions of the equipment in the iframe at content part?

I have no problem to change the content part when user clicks on one of the equipments at submenu part. The problem arises when linking the main page with the equipment page.

Please enlighten me. Thank you.

Problem on setting up LAN (2 PC) (Vista & XP)

Hi to everybody. Recently, my boss bought another new PC into the office and he wished to set up a LAN network which both of the can share printing and online simultaneously.

Before I stated out a few problems that I setting up the network, let me roughly explain about the concept or structure of my network.

PC A is using Windows Vista Home Premium while PC B is using Windows XP Professional. Both of them are connected to a router. In addition, the router is not set to connect to internet automatically. So, it means that we have to click on the Dial-Up in order to connect to the internet.

(For both situations, leave the sharing file alone.)

Problem 1:
For this problem, I have let PC A serves as host while PC B is client. Printer is connected to PC A. For this, I have succeded to set up sharing printing so that PC B can print documents by using the printer. However, I have difficulty to connect to the internet from PC B. In anther word, PC A can connect to the internet easily but PC B can't. I have enable ICS (Internet connection sharing) in PC A. So, what should I configure for both PC under TCP/IP settings?

Problem 2:
For this problem, I have let PC B serves as host while PC A is client.(But seems like actually not. Read further anyway). Sharing printing is still okay. Perhaps I am too curious about it, I set up dial-up options for PC A and PC B at the same time. I try to let PC A connect to internet using Streamyx A account while PC B connect to internet using Streamyx B account. WEIRD!! BOTH OF THE PC CAN CONNECT TO INTERNET SIMULTANEUOUSLY USING 2 DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS UNDER 1 PHONE LINE!! Is it really possible to do that?

* I noticed that PC A need to connect to internet first before PC B connect to internet. If not, PC B is disconnected from internet. (Means that PC B connect, thenC A connect, after that PC B disconnected.)

I have read all the resources in the internet but I can't find any solution about it. This is my first time setting up a network, perhaps I did something wrong. I just wish to let both of the PC can connect to internet at the same time with no doubt using the same streamyx account.

One more, in the internet, they said that when I enabled ICS, the IP address will be changed to 192.168.0.1. I am not quite understand about it. Please enlighten me.

Really hope someone can help me!!! Guide me please.

Thank you.

New IP from Streamyx?

This is my first time getting this IP. Everthing seems fine, the speed of surfing is moderate too. Is this a new IP assigned from TM? I heard that some of the people get this IP too before. So, does anyone here get this IP?

[218.xx.xx.xx / 60.xx.xx.xx / 219.xx.xx.xx]->These IP are commons for streamyx user...

One more question to ask->Why the speed of internet is normally slow or can't even move when get 219.xx.xx.xx ?

Let's discuss about it.~
