Dear All,

Can gigabytes GA-MA78GM-S2H support AMD Athlon XP?

I read from the specification of GA-MA78GM-S2H can support AMD Athlon series processor.

So can it support the old Athlon XP processor(Extreme Performance)? My AThlon XP is 1700++

I plan to buy the mobo and new ram but still use back the processor.

Please help me thanks!!!!

My laptop's DVD burner 'kong' already....

I plan to get it repair by changing a new one or just buy a external burner?

Which one is cheapest way? Please advise thanks!!!!

I have budget now about ~RM800,

so any recommendation for game pc?

i only want to upgrade processor, ram, gc, mobo. the reast I will use back..

I plan for AM2 X2 5000+, asus M2A_VM, 2GB ram, and a nice GC or may new casing with PSU....

can old 450W P4 casing support the above new components?

Im having my old PC, AMD Athlon 1600+, 768MB DDR RAM, ATI 256MB GC AGP 8X, etc,

I plan to upgrade my PC for processor and board. I plan t keep my RAM and GC, Harddisk, etc...

any recommendation on the processor and board? My bajet is around RM400
