Hi all, I think this is the most suitable place to ask.

I will need to regularly exchange rupiah to ringgit when strained in Indonesia. So what's the best way to do it?

I have done several studies.

1) bring cash back to exchange at money changer
Pro
- no need bank fees
- could be the most direct and fastest method

Con
- not safe to have cash
- issues of going through custom etc.

2) online P2P currency exchange
Such as transferwise, currency fair, etc..
So far none handles exchange from rupiah to ringgit

3) using forex brokerage account/service
Such as interactive broker, etc

Please shar your experience and advice. Thabks!
This is another current consideration but seems complicated.
