HTPC Motherboard

Hi everyone, currently I am on the verge of building a HTPC.
Almost everything is ready (I guess).

Now left motherboard choice.

Split to 2 choices.

1) Zotac 9300 ITX WIFI
2) J/W 780 ITX
3) Any suggestion on other ITX motherboard that I managed to get at this forum?

I only want ITX motherboard because of my feature wall rack height is around 140mm. So micro-ATX casing is a bit hard to slot into the rack.

Sata Hardisk Problem

Hi every expert here,

I am facing some funny situation here.

Last time, I am using Windows Vista 64 bit. I buy a hardisk for storage purpose. But since now my mobo in RMA process, I revert back to my second PC which is using Windows XP.

But when I plug the hardisk into the SATA port, windows XP cannot detect the hardisk. In disk management, it only appear as "Unreadable" and Dynamic.

For your information, I am using AMD system. My sata already set to IDE mode so that I can install XP using Sata hardisk. But now the problem lies on the storage hardisk, which unreadable by Windows XP.

UPDATE : I tried detecting using Windows Vista and XP both 32 bit. Both cannot "see" the drive in My Computer.

Here is some speedtest done using Penang Free Wifi service.

Finally Penangites can enjoy alternative free Wifi (speed quite stable) rather that what normal cafe offer (Streamyx with wifi router).

The DTT can be set to activate only when the voltage is rising quickly (rather than falling quickly), so it's perfect for watching how fast you're putting your foot down.

Need a spurt of power to get out into traffic? Or you're on the hammer fast as you thread the car out of a hairpin corner? In both cases the DTT will sense what is going on and pull in the relay, which can be used to automatically set Power mode. If the timer period is set for 10 seconds, Power mode will stay activated for that long if you don't again accelerate hard within that time. If you're hard on the throttle any time within the timer period, the timer starts counting again.

Because the DTT is measuring the rate of throttle application (not just how much throttle is being applied) the driver doesn't have to mash the throttle to the floor to get the result. Instead, just a quick movement halfway through the throttle range is enough. In practice - since a switch from Economy to Power modes often results in a downchange - this makes the transmission so much more responsive it's not funny.

To suit your preferences you can set how long Power mode stays engaged after the last quick throttle movement. On the road the difference between (say) eight and twelve seconds is quite noticeable, and so being able to set this time accurately is important. And of course you can set exactly how quickly the throttle needs to be moved to trip the relay - this will depend quite a lot on your individual driving style.

Blocking all IM using router

Does anyone knows how to block all Instant Messenger in PC?
Example, I got several computer in home. Only 1, I want to make it cannot access any log in any instant messenger at all.

I google around, get a way to block MSN.

Example: in your router firewall settings;

DENY Source: LAN, 192.168.0.102 -> Destination: WAN, 207.46.104.20 (with any protocol and all* ports)

Is it the way?
How to block others such as ICQ, YM and Google Talk?
