Windows restart each time i repair Int. connection

Hi,

I have this problem with my internet connection. I connect to the Internet via wireless connection (using a wireless adapter). This is the rough spec of my desktop:

OS : Windows XP2 2002 SP2
wireless adapter : XLink Kai, GW-USMini2N

I can get connected to the internet for the first few minutes, after that, checking on my connection status, my computer will stop sending packets and i can't browse the Internet anymore. What i did every time is by repairing my internet connection. But recently, whenever i click repair, my computer will automatically restarts with Windows error report.

This just keeps repeating itself and the only way i can regain my Internet connection is by disabling and enabling my wireless connection. I don't understand why i can't repair my internet connection without having my computer restarting every single time.

What i did:
1. Scanned my computer for malware/spyware with AVG 8.5 and Avira AntiVir Personal version 9.0.0.394 and i found none.
2. Clear private data (including cookies) - I use Mozilla Firefox
3. Disable error report

But none of this change anything, please help..

cannot uncheck hidden box

Hi, i got this virus from a pc in the cyber cafe.

It hidden all my .doc and .docx files and creates .exe files with the same names as the original .doc/.docx. They were pretty easy to detect and remove but my original .doc/.docx files cannot be unhidden.

I only know one method to hidden or unhidden files i.e. properties -> check/uncheck hidden box. But the box is greyed and i cant even uncheck it. Its not supposed to be a big problem really, i can copy the contents to a new, unhidden .doc/.docx files but i have tens of the files infected and since i go to the cyber cafe often, i can't prevent myself from getting the virus over and over again... Help...

here's an example of what i'm facing..
