Anyone purchased furniture from Soffurni before? I happened to come across their store in Kota Kemuning by accident because wanted to visit Heesz furniture.

The sales person who is the branch manager was the person who layan me. Their sofa's look super comfy and high end with decent price point.
I tried to search in lowyat forum but havent found any thread regarding them.

Just want some people's opinion who have purchased stuffs from them.

Deficit in Condo Account before JMB

Hi All,

Currently my condo is having a deficit of about RM400k+ recorded in the audited accounts book of my condo. This was shown during first AGM.

My question is, who is responsible for this amount after JMB is formed? Is it bear by the developer (because this amount is before JMB is formed) or bear by JMB (because JMB is formed with the knowledge of the amount shown during AGM).

Condo Reno Journey

Hi guys, been wanting to post my reno journey here to share with you guys the reno progress as well as hopefully get feedback and advices.

This reno journey started out with meeting several Contractors as well as IDs, gotten quotation from most of them (some actually didn't even provide me quotation), compared the prices and finally decided on not the cheapest quotation, but I feel that he can accept my suggestions but also provide good feedback on what can be done better, and also how I can save some costs if required.

In conclusion, I have decided to engage a contractor for the renovation works. If you actually follow some other forumer's reno journey here, they also recommended this contractor and I can see the reason why.

As for the carpentry (Kitchen cabinet, wardrobe, etc), I am planning to engage a separate company to do the works. Will share more info once the actual carpentry works have started.

I will only share the contacts once my reno is reaching near completion. As for costing, I will also not share it publicly here as I am not comfortable with doing that. So if you want my estimate costs for certain works, please PM me separately. Hope you guys can respect my decision to keep things slightly private.

Just some of the works that will be done:-
- L-Box plaster ceiling for living area
- Kitchen tiles will have to go as we don't like the existing tiles, going to hack and re-tile
- Full height mirror at dining area
- Theme will be mostly white for dining/living area
- Bedrooms will have wallpaper (Purchased these very early on during sale period)
- Middle bedroom will be converted to study/computer room
- Kitchen cabinet and wardrobe for MBR

Laminate wood flooring

Guys, I got the keys to my new condo not too long ago. During defect checking, i noticed that there are several tiles that have corners slightly jutting out and can feel that it is not even when feel using my feet.

I have raised this as a defect to be rectified but somehow they keep missing to fix the tiles and I am getting fedup, I want to start my renovation already.

My question is, if I want to install laminate wood flooring, will these uneven tiles cause an issue?
