Random DC of internet connection

Hi there,

I had this problem for quite a while ago. My internet connection alwiz randomly Dc by its own. In 24hrs at least 2-3times DC. And the annoying part is, I can't re-connect by using the Wireless Network Connection taskbar. It will display "Windows could not connect to xxxx wireless connection" I tried using the Windows Diagnose and Repair network problem, and still give the same error. It will only help to restart the Wireless adapter but still the same problem occurs. Tried scanning for viruses but null result

I even tried unplugging the Wireless USB adapter and plug it back in, but still the same. The only way is to go to my Modem and Wireless router, turn both of them OFF, wait for 5seconds and turn it back ON then only I can have internet connection. After a few hours, same sheet happens again.

I tried calling streamyx and inform thm bout the problem, but they said its nothing wrong on their side. They even reset their port @ the station but still the same Its been like dis for more thn 6months and I m demm fed up with it.

My parts and specs:
~Tenda W541U 54Mbps Wireless adapter
~Aztech Modem (provided by TMNet Streamyx)
~Aztech eXtended Range WL830RT4 802.11b/g Wireless Broadband Router

Myvi 1.3 AFR

Hi all,

I m driving a stock 1.3 manual Myvi. No major mods have been done so far except I've juz mod the basic intake n exhaust upgrade which is open pod intake, 4-2-1 cap ayam, stret piping n s-flow muffler. The rest is stock as how it is from the factory. Since then, I've notice evrytime if I juz rev abit or blip the throttle, there will be a "pop" sound sumtimes like Vrooommm.... "pop" mmmm....

Sumtimes it get even worse especially after a long journey or go Genting, K.Kelawang or hi-rev climb. It will produce multiple "pop" sound like Vrooomm.... "pop" "bop" "bob" mmmm.... So at 1st I tot it wuz the plugs wearing off, so I've change it but still the same. So 1 of my fren said its bcuz I m using open pod intake which cause my AFR to be "Lean" abit.

Recently I went to Dyno the Myvi which I notice the AFR reading is :
Low-Mid end= 12.5-12.9
Mid-High end=12.7-12.3
Towards High end=12.0-11.9

Anything wrong??? I tot carbie engine only can lari setting after a while which needs re-tuning

Engine bay demm hot after traveling

Hi there,

I m driving an old 1991 Proton Saga A/B 1.6T and I m having issues wit the heat producing from the engine bay. After a short/long journey like going back to home town or taking for a spin, I've notice my engine bay will become super hot even I m not boosting @ all (normal driving). It is so hot until I m having problem opening/touching my hood And when its raining, I can see got steam forming on my hood like a hot pan

Evrything else seems 2 be fine, temp reading normal. Normal driving temp reading is in between C n H. Boosting the temp will increase 3/4 from C and the radiator will boil out into the reserve tank. Even in traffic jem my aircond is working fine n cold. But my intercooler will get hot if stuck in traffic jam.
I've check wit my mech n he said its normal for turbo engines to produce such heat

I really feel uneasy wit dis problem especially when I get stuck in traffic jams cuz I tend to stop @ a Petrol Station and open my hood to it cool down no doubt its fine And in raining condition, the steams sumtimes fog up my view from the outside. Still haven't drove my car up to Genting yet. I scare it might breakdown

Any suggestion or solution??? Pls shed sum light Thanks

Mozilla Firefox problem

Hi there,

I have dis problem where while surfing da net, I will minimize Firefox 2 play games. Right after finish playing my games, when I restore/maximize Mozilla it will alwiz crash or hang or not responding. My Rams n CPU usage reading will be freaking high. And there no way but 2 use task manager n end the task. Then I have restore Mozilla Firefox again.

It alwiz happen right after I quit/finish playing my games like Dota,CSS,HL,COD4,COD5,CODMW2,NFS Shift,The Sims3 n more... any games

I've update my Mozilla, Flash player, Java runtime n etc 2 da latest version edi but still da same result. Any1 experience dis problem b4??? Any solution??? My PC specs r @ my siggy (non-OCed) Thanks a million in advance

2day @ Klang-Banting highway... I wuz on da way 2 c my cousin cuz her car windshield shattered. So.. on da way, got roadblock... Police not JPJ. I kantoi edi, cuz da cop stop me....

Policeman A: Lesen n IC...
Me:(took out n gave)
Policeman A: Checked n ask me 2 pull aside... he thn gave my license n IC 2 Policemen B
Policeman B: Look n survey around my car... N said 'Bang tlg kluar'
Me: Came out n asked, 'Yer... kenapa???'
Policeman B: 'Ko ade perasan x ape kesalah ko'
Me: Look around n said 'Takder ape2 pn'
Policeman B: 'Lampu engko tu tak boleh pkai, Ini Lampu Putih'
Policeman A: 'Dah kecoh kat surat khabar takkan tak tau pulak... Ke buat2 tak tau'
Me: 'Yg kt surat khabar tu HID diharamkan, yg ini ialah Halogen H4

Actually, I m using Halogen H4 wit 4300k temperature... Izzit still consider my fault???

Policeman A: 'Dia pakai lampu putih tuan'
Senior off: 'Ini lain... bukan yg silau2 tu... tak terang sangat, kaler pun campur2 putih kuning'
Policeman A: Trying 2 be innocent, 'Apa tadi ko cakap??? Halogen...'
Senior off: 'Sudah2... jalan2...' then asking da same question back @ Policeman A
Policeman A: 'Bukan saya yg tahan' blamming 2 Policeman B

Da senior officer gav back my license, IC n ask me 2 ciow... hahahaa... da best part is da Senior officer snap back @ da Policeman A... My question 4 da day is, izzit ok 2 use Halogen light bulb wit 4300k temperature??? Cuz if its gonna troublesome, I rather change back 2 original temperature...

Dis is a friendly advice 2 all those car lovers....

If u drive a lowered car, big bodykits or even Myvi SE.... Dun go enter into Mydin Subang 4 parking.... If u nid 2 go 2 Mydin... find parking sumwhere else... Y..???

Bcuz da speed bump is freaking high... Trust me Even my Proton Saga also got damage after entering their parking... my front bumper (lowered @ da front), my Lower Arm bar (UR) n my xhaust got scratch after finish parking my car, I saw a Myvi SE juz take da bump like normal not crab style.... Front scratch da whole way until 2 da rear... summore SE bodykit. Pity da owner

4 those who driving big n high car like 4x4, Suv or high cars like rally can go thru wit no problem... But 4 those who modi2 their luvly lowered cars wit cun bodykits, take my advice... Dun enter!!! once enter da parking lot, u got @ least 5-6 big bumps 2 encounter...

Gear stick kick back 2 neutral

To all bros,gals,sifoo n noobs...

I got dis problem, when I n-gage into gear like 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear, sumtimes if I rev until 4.5k n above... da gear stick will kick back 2 neutral... It happens quite often also. Its like it jump back 2 neutral. I tot I haven't push da gear stick into da gear selection enuf or properly, but even if I hold da stick also sumtimes only it will kick back n giv dis loud jamming sound like did not press da clucth Y ar?? When it kick back, my car transmission will become neutral(free) especially during 1st gear, I canot pick up demm fast, or else da gear will kick back 2 neutral sumtimes...

My car details:
1~ Proton Saga 86/87 manual 1.3
2~ Change my clutch kit, new trans mission oil, new oil seal, new gear mounting, new clutch cable
3~ Servis da transmission edi...

After service my transmission edi... Dis problem occur around 2months after da service. If any1 experience dis or could giv me any opinions n advice, really appreciate it. Cuz afraid my mech might tipu me...

I've ask 3 mech. 1 says dat its my brake pad, another say is my brake pump is failing n da 3rd mech told me 2 change da whole system Wat I notice is my brake pump is replaced, new brake pads n skimmed. But I notice @ da brake pump mangkuk,(black colour shaped bowl place on da car body) got a very mild rust. Most likely its been eaten by sumthing or corroded (Like acid been poured on metal). I wuz wondering its time 4 a upgrade. Can u all dun mind recommend me a not very xpensive brake parts??? N da price range if possible...

So far, dis is wat I've found:
-Wira master pump
-Brakes pad

N my car is a Proton Saga1.3 8v all standard. I dun 1 2 get cheated by mech cuz I dunno da price like bout brake system.

Hi all,

I had dis problem drop 2 lower gears like 3,2,1 @ normal speed... Like cruising @ 60km/h 3rd gear.... slow down until 40km/h also still cannot engage 2nd gear... it won't engage... If force got a very loud scratch sound like never press clutch Hav 2 slow down until 25-20km/h then can masuk 2nd gear... same goes wit 2nd to 1st gear... 4rom 20km/h until 10km/h n below then can engage 1st gear... I tried my dad's MyVi ok onli... can drop...

Hi all,

Y whenever I make a hard turn or a u turn 2 da right, my front left tyre got sum weird sound like sumthing is broken 'tak tak tak tak' sound??? Its very scary..cuz afraid 1 day my tyre might fall off or sum other disaster might happen 2 it. Only when I do a u-turn or fully turn my steering 2 da right.. N izzit gonna cost a 'bomb' 2 get it fixed????

Could not access internet or LAN

Hi all,

I m having dis problem accessing 2 da internet n playing games through Local Area Network like Warcraft3, Swat4 n MotoGP I m using a wireless network connection 4 my house which include 2lptps n 2dsktp.... Da problem is is based on 1 of my lptp, whenever it says wireless detected, it will connect automatically. Once done, da status will say 'CURRENTLY CONNECTED TO: XXXXX ACCESS: LOCAL AND INTERNET' But whenever I click on either Mozilla or IE, could not access internet.... google n yahoo. Refresh also same canot N then, got dis tab will pop up (DEP) If 1 2 play Dota also canot.... In Local Area Network, da game won't appear in my lptp but da rest of pc, got wit no prob... Y ar??? Suddenly only happen. I think got virus, but scan dun hav... I even tried using McD n Starbucks wifi also da same problem

Btw, here my lptp specs:

Acer Aspire 4530 Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

Car easily stalled when cold engine

Hi 2 all,

I m having dis problem wit my car since long time ago.... Can say bout 2-3 years back.... Da prob is y whenever i juz only start my car (cold engine) it can easily stall when i hit da accelerator... Like example, lets say... i juz only start... My idle is below 1k... When press a bit n hold on, it will rev until 2k, then automatically it will cum down back 2 1k,below 1k n stalled.... I really hate it cuz when emergency time (it means like when ever I need 2 use da car immediately w/o warming 1st) da car will always stall.... When i tekan minyak n angkt clutch da will move, jerking n like coughing. If press more gas, stall terus. But when da engine is hot edi no problem @ all... Its like bad respond when da engine is cold...

Btw, my car is very old Proton Saga 4G13 8v...

Things dat I done:
~Change spark plugs
~Change air intake n filters
~Groundings n ignition cables
~Clean choke n carb (using 3M Choke n Carb cleaner)
~Engine oil (oil filter also)
~Fuel filter

But still da same result....

Car steering vibrate Perodua Kelisa

As topic, whenever i drive @ cruising speed around 80-100kmph I can feel my steering wheel is shaky n vibrating... I still get da same result even after i got my car 4 service dat include Wheel alignments, chamber toe in/out (if i m not mistaken wat da mech told me) n a new pair of tires.... I told da mech 2 check my suspension... n he said its fine...

4 da xtra info, dis Kelisa belongs 2 my aunt, which she is now @ UK doing her PHD.... N 4rom time 2 time... i've been using her car 4 nearly 2months edi.... N i still could not get da problem solve... She said, its normal... I know la da car is still controllable...But, better be safe...

Can sum1 help out here... If its inaccurate or wrong opinion also xpe...
