Well I've come down to 2 laptops, going to buy them later today..

Would you rather pick the MSI GT60 or ASUS G55VW.

Both specs are almost the same.

- i7 3610QM
- Bluray
- 16GB RAM
- 1TB Hard disk
- Windows 7 Ultimate

Only difference is GT60 has Nividia GTX670M [3GB]
and ASUS has GTX 660M [I'm not sure if it's upgradable]

Which one would you for? Take everything into consideration..

The Asus model I asked yesterday, at Tesco Ampang..it's RM4,990. I always deal with the same guy.He will give lots of freebies as usual. Not sure about MSI.

I might also go for the 17" models..same series.

Hi!!

I need a laptop for graphic design and gaming. Budget right now is not an issue..but would be amazing if it could be below 6k..if not just let me know and I might consider..

After doing some research, Toshiba Qosmio came in mind..and MSI GT70 and MSI GE70..both amazing laptops..and of course I thought of spending alot more with alienware MX17.

Brand is not an issue..except for acer..bad experience twice! Screen should be high res..don't matter 15" or 17"..

So..what do you guys think? I'm really dumb when it comes to computers..haha..hope you gurus could help me out..

And..I want the best of the best graphics card..

I have a really old JVC compact VHS camcorder. I have a problem playing tapes. The tapes will play but the video will go on ad off, but the sound is still on. I don't know whether it's the tapes or the camcorder that's the problem. I hope someone can help me solve this problem. I really need to transfer my old tapes to PC. Thanks.

I'm looking for a VHS player, but no luck. I know that they are not officially selling it anymore but I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy one from? Second hand most probably.

We have many home videos and I don't want it to go to waste. I have recently taken it to a photo shop for conversion, the charge for 9 tapes is almost RM800! Anyway, they told me all the tapes were empty which is strange because they are 2hrs full each. I have seen them before. So, I'd like to get a player to see it again for myself, and conversion is so expensive. I want to do it myself with Easycap video capture.

Anyway, yeah, that's the reason why I need a VHS player. Please if anyone knows where to get one, please help me! Thanks!

Hey guys,

I bought a new laptop, and I had problems with the internet before but everything is fixed. Now after just 4 days of use, Avira detected 2 viruses. And it keeps popping up to delete/quarantine/deny excess, but every time I choose any one of them it'll just keep coming back and I have to do it over and over again. The virus is called csrss.exe and Lsas.exe. That keeps popping out so I downloaded spybot [someone suggested me to]. But nothing seems to work. I tried going on safe mode, but still the same thing. After awhile, I just keep trying but things got worse!!! I restarted and there's another virus popping out now called recycled.acr or something. And now I can't open any programs at all! I can't even open my Add/remove programs on control panel. I scanned my laptop with avg, spybot and avira, still the same. The 2 viruses that appeared [csrss.exe and Lsas.exe] are in C:/WINDOWS/AppPatch. But I cant find the 2 files! This is really frustrating because I had to go back and forth to the dealer and get it fixed! And I just had it for a few days!! Does anyone know what's wrong? Please Help!!

Edit: The Recycled.acr is not detected anymore just csrss.exe and Lsas.exe. And I still can't open any programs [Windows media player, Utorrent, Firefox, anything] I've tried downloading other kinds of anti viruses to scan my laptop but I can't open anything I download! I can't even open Avira or AVG now.

Problem description: I bought a new Acer Laptop yesterday, and It seems I'm the only one who can't connect to the internet. (My sisters are using it just fine) I have a wireless connection at home. Even with cable, the message is "network cable unplugged" when it' still plugged. It only connected for a while with the cable. With wireless sometimes theres no connection at all, sometimes it's "Limited or no connectivity". I have done my research about it, but nothing I did solved my problems. I was thinking maybe I should return my laptop? I'm not too good when it comes to all this, and I really don't understand. If anyone could just guide me through this problem, It would be very much appreciated.

Hey, Im new to this forum, so Hello to y'all!

Anyways, Ive been wondering which camera to choose, a FUJIFILM S9600 or a CANON EOS350D?

A few people have told me that Canon is better. I'm thinking if I want to actually buy canon, I might as well get the Canon 400D Camera.

Can anyone give me some advise? And the cheapest prices for these camera's? And where in KL is the best place to shop for cameras? (Try to be more specific, I'm not too familiar with places in KL, as I'm not from Malaysia.)
