its really delicate this new fibreoptics.make sure to observe your technicians as they can break even with the slightest mishandling

Hey guys,need advice

I have two PS3 Slim 120gb that is bought from Sony Malaysia and my personal gameshop which is different but they both have the same tendency to not play some Blue ray discs.

The original ones run just fine but the ahem ones,well I cant seem to finish the movies on it,it always get to hang around for a while till up to 12-15 minutes before seizing up (black screen,no pictures)

but the ps3 is working and the top menu can be accessed,when i use the SELECT to see if theres any stream of data it shows the ps3 is skipping the parts up to the next playable one.

I tried playing the discs on a Sony blueray player and it ran fine! this is my dilemma here,can anyone enlighten me?

p/s 1 of my ps3 has its firmware up to the latest,3.30 and another is on 3.15

[addedon]May 30, 2010, 1:06 pm[/addedon]more info,my big assed Samsung DLP can only play up to 1080i,and also it has issues with the HDMI cable (as in when i plug the hdmi,i can see the ps3 interface but when it enters movie mode it wrote Mode not Supported on the screen even if i scaled down the display to 720p it'd show the same shit)

So im using Component cables instead and scaled it to 720p/1080i. can component cables be the culprit?

My damn pc always crash when i play game

Hey guys.I want to ask for help because I dont know what else to do anymore.

Here are my pc specs

AMD Sempron 2800+ sock 754
ECS 761GX-M754 Rev3
1GB of ddr400
the usual hanky panky like HDD and DVD-RW

i used to have two GPU which both problems happen anyway.
1 - X300 SE 128mb
2 - my BRAND NEW Geforce 8500GT

I initially thought my x300 was faulty because it keeps freezing ( blank screen then pc reboots ) so i decided to upgrade for a newer card ( the 8500GT )

to my surprise.the same thing happened only worst with the new card ( blue screen of death,dumping memory )
all this only happen when i use 3D application (games) .

Is this because im using a modified driver for both cards? (omega drivers)

Hello people. I would like to open a thread discussing Carburettors.

I would love if experts like unker fred and skywalker to give opinions in here : ) Would love to know more about performance carbs like Webers , Delloto , Stromberg etc.
( yea unker fred,i know all about your legendary satria weber,im from ZTH and one of your fan!)

My first question would be about Webers
are they reliable if i plan to use a Weber carb ( DCOE or DCNF ) for force-induction purposes

I want to do up a bolt-on project for my Daihatsu Charade aura which has a 993cc 3 cylinder engine. I am running an Aisan twin barrel carburettor meant for 1.3 litre cars and it manage to integrate well after numerous tuning with other stuff that i do such as a full rebuilt with oversized pistons and new internals/oil pump. Rather then transplanting another engine into my Charade , i plan to bolt on my carbed engine.

I pretty much manage to figure all the other things out required for the bolt-on turbo/supercharger to be successful such as lower compression pistons , oil cooler and neccessary equipment for turbos , a different distributor setting to retard rather then advance during higher boost and such. What bothers me is if i can find a carb that is able to take boost.

As far as i know, the normal carburettor cannot take boost due to the venturi that will cease after positive pressure gets in and such. I would love constructive views on this matter.

Secondly, my second project is to get a HD-EG Detomaso engine , a 1.6 litre engine for Daihatsu Espri Detomaso to hybrid it with the HC-E 1.3 Engine from daihatsu as well ( 1.6 block and pistons with 1.3 head ) .

As you can see heheh..i plan to run Twin DCOE on it as well. Would that be advisable or should i stick with the EFI if i want more power rather then economy ?
