Streamyx keep disconnecting

Hi guys, a quick question.
I have been using Streamyx in Ipoh for the past year, and it has been giving me headaches since then.
The line is always disconnecting after 30mins, or few hours after surfing. It disconnects suddenly, and when I check my "view available wireless networks", it would be there, under the status of 'automatic', or nothing at all. By checking the lights at the router, they seem static for DSL, wireless and wired lines.

So I went asking for help. The sales people in computer shops either say its the router's prob (my DLink was repaired after a lightning), or the line. So i opted to buy a new Belkin one. Right now, it's still the same thing again. So I need help.

Anyone who could help me? Or is it time to change to Maxis or Celcom or Digi?

Hi peeps!

Well...I stumbled upon my dream job, which is an entertainment reporter for Galaxie magazine. But after sending countless resumes, begging them thru their blog, and willing to do one week trial without pay for them, still no reply.

Anyone who knows the people in Galaxie magazine? I'm not asking for a backdoor in, just someone whom I can contact for my status check. Please guys, it's my dream job. (this vacancy is actually real from star jobs.com)

I'll keep you guys in the know if I do score this job ok?
Please help me. I can't find any contact numbers for this mag even intheir mag!

NDSL battery...

hiya ppl...

i just bought an NDSL 2 mths back. So these few days i've been noticing something weird. I left my DS to charge overnight, but in the morning, when i switched it on, the indicator showed red. I thought i was a noob for not switching on the socket, but i plugged it to a multiplug, and my handphone was fully charged!

I tried plugging it to the wall socket, but the indicator did not lit up in orange.

so was it the adapter? or was it the battery? help me guys!

should i confront the seller?

Hi All,

I have bought a nokia 6288 from a seller few months back. (unfortunately, i deleted my pm with her as my mailbox has exploded.)
She was quite kind, as she said she doesn't know much about the handphones that she was selling (claims to be hp that her dad took from her uncle's shop)

Okay, so she sold me a 'new' Nokia 6288, and her brother was kind to COD with me in Puchong. He was even nice to pass me the 1gb mem card when he forgot.
When I went to buy a screen protector, the guy told me it was a 2nd hand set when he helped me to check the call timer. So I asked her to pay rm40 as she sold me rm520 for new hp. She did pay me.

But then, her warranty for me was 1 week.

Then 1 month back, the nokia 6288 had a LCD problem.
I didn't call the seller as I knew the warranty was over.
I took the phone to change a new LCD.
THE LCD SELLER TOLD ME THE HP'S MOTHERBOARD WAS FAULTY TOO!!!

Why could a new hp's lcd screen and motherboard be faulty?? ( the call timer was 2-3hrs of call time)

RIGHT NOW, I HAVE ASKED MY DAD'S FRIEND TO CHECK IT OUT, AND HE SAID THE PHONE IS AS GOOD AS DEAD.
RM480 OF SWEAT AND BLOOD GONE.

So should I confront her? Please help me.

My laptop is XP. My friend helped me to install Flyakite, RK Launcher, and then Vista Transformation Pack. Is it too crowded? If I take out either one, would it be better? Which one do you guys recommend and how to do it? Thanks!
