After considering everything, seemed like Unity government will be the best option for stability due to the divisive voter based and also numbers of MP seat won by each coalition.

This ensure within government there is check and balance due to frenemy status. Stability because a combination of PH + PN will be definitely be stronger than any hairline victory of whatever combination without both together. I think we all know what happen when last round go with hairline majority.

As for voters, both side will feel they have partially won and won't be so bitter or have large resentment. Might also be a good chance for both side of the extreme to at least understand each better and fear each other less, with more tolerance.

Well unity in the big picture does indeed bring more unity and stability for country and voter base if you look from a high point. But then, its politic after all, very few would put country interest above self interest. Winning at all cost is what matters

Why cant we hold MP accountable for their choices. Why only rakyat suffer for their own political ambition ? Some want to choose weak leader so they can songlap while country burn, some want to choose their friend so get good cabinet post, some want other stuff..

We should do a system to put more at stake at their choice. Such as if the choose wrong pm and that pm and cabinet perform poorly, they lose the rights to contest next election. Doesnt matter they belong to which party.

This is simple thinking, but to me MP really like nothing to lose and everything to gain while rakyat suffer their game of thrones.

When Mahatir was PM can see some of Malaysia most talented people came to assist him in the bid to return our country old glory. Mind you those people are not lalang but some of the best in their field and recognized internationally. Some can even give the Sg minister a run for their money based on their intellect and achievement.

I wonder who will be on Muhyiddin council or is there any. Will they have that kind of star power as those of Mahatir.

We really had quite a dream team on Mahatir cabinet, but too bad it fail. Will those people that assist Mahatir extend it to Muhyiddin as well you think ?

Saving Money Overseas

Hi All,

I am planning to take time off and move to stay in other country for period of 1 - 2 years to explore and have a feel of culture and life there.

As such my plan is to split a portion of my current income into these country financial institute without me having to visit them personally so when i move there i am able to access and use the money i save up freely while i explore the country.

So i would like to ask those familiar with banking / frequent travelers to suggest how i should do it ? I would still want to come back to Malaysia and no plans to take up any foreign citizenship, and hopefully the balance money i save up there can be transferred back once i feel i have enough of the country

Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E430 / Ideapad Y580

Currently wondering which of these two should i get. Looking for a laptop that is well built for work purposes as well as some gaming on the side.

The e430 with 3rd gen i7 core i like the build quality as well as the plain design but currently im hesitating over whether the gtx630m graphic card is able to support game at medium setting in 2-3 years time down the road.

While for the Y580 the graphic card is definitely better but the laptop seems to be more towards multimedia than work, and im afraid frequent traveling might crippled it in 1-2 years time.

In the end looking for the best bang for buck in term of build quality, performance and long term usage of 3-5 years. Price wise both about the same, would like to hear feedback on what you guys think.

Also im unable to find any review on this particular e430 series with the gtx630m card on the net. So any links towards an editor review or user review is much appreciated

Modem: Riger DB102 ADSL Modem 2/2+
Router: Linksys WRT54g2 wireless router
Firewall used: Window firewall

Problem details
First occurence of problem: When trying to use the linksys router as pppoe and DB102 as bridge

Problem description: Can't set up DB102 as a bridge modem for the linksys router to use in PPPOE mode. After entering all the setting into the linksys config such as username, password when trying to dial it will come out a message saying unable to obtain ip address from ISP. I think the problem is the setting of the DB102 which is on bridge and routing mode. No matter what i do i can't set it to bridge mode only.

Why isit every time after a few attempt of reconnecting and disconnecting to get better ip my line will went totally dead, no signal whatsoever for maybe around 5 min or so.

Is this cause by streamyx imposing temporally banned to my line for too much reconnecting attempt, is there anyway i could get around it ? as to get a good ip is not that easy

Recently after the lag, even though now my connection is ok and all , but the speed of streaming video has gone down drastically. The download, torrents, website all have returned to normal but somehow streaming of video from megavid , crunchyroll, youtube has become really really slow.

Anyone facing similiar problem ? Or has this got something to do on my side of the line ?
