Hi all, just got offer for a job that pays in USD. What's the best foreign currency account to open with banks with minimal fees annually?

I have searched online and the best option I found is:

HSBC Everyday Global Account

Pros:
- Zero Fees
- Zero Minimum Balance (Other banks require minimum USD500 or 1000 to open an account)

I have also checked other posts that suggest using Paypal to receive USD instead of giving money to the banks.

As long as I have convenient access to the foreign currency account, good security, can withdraw money anytime easily then it's good. What is the best option for me?

CPU Cooler 2020: Air cool or AIO?

Hi guys, currently in a dilemma whether to go for air cooler or AIO.

CPU using is 5800x.

Air Cooler:
- Quieter
- Less risk, low maintenance
- Bulkier, not so good in aesthetics
- More difficult move around (not an issue for me because not moving pc often)

AIO:
- Looks good and some got rgb
- Smaller, more clearance for ram and gpu
- Easier to transport
- More risk and chance of pump failure
- Noisier

Assuming these 2 are priced the same, which one would you go for? I have these 2 models in mind:

BEST USB Wifi Adapter in 2020?

Hi, building a new pc now but the RTX3070 is very fat and will be covering all available PCIE slots in a mATX board. So PCIE Wifi card is not an option.

Currently looking for USB Wifi adapter for internet connection. Please advise if there are other methods of getting wifi (Powerline, etc). I game a lot on this PC so ping is going to be very important.

Is it safe to install M.2 Gen 3 SSD under the GPU?

Dear all,

Planning to build PC on my own. Using 2 M.2 SSD and install 3070 GPU. The 2nd M.2 SSD I got it from my previous PC.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M AORUS ELITE
GPU: ASUS TUF 3070
1st M.2 SSD: SX8200 Pro 1TB
2nd M.2 SSD: SX6000 512GB

Question: Can I install 2nd M.2 SSD under the GPU considering 3070 GPU is quite thick and will cover the 2nd M.2? Is this safe for both the 2nd M.2 and GPU?

Extra Question: Do you think the 3070 will cover up all the PCIE slots at the bottom? I'm planning to install PCIE Wifi card too if there is a slot available.

Hi, I have 3 cats, one adult cat, two 10 months old kittens. It is quite expensive to buy Royal Canin, Avo, ProPlan etc. and I know Frieskies/ Tesco brands are bad for cats.

Any <RM20/kilo healthy cat food recommendation? Or is there a place/internet order where I can get cheaper premium cat food? Thx

A friend of mine recommended this programme to me. He says its a lot cheaper than other alternatives such as University of London (external) and only need to attend school at weekends and take exams every year.

I understand that we still need to take CLP after completing this programme, but no choice, since my stpm result which is just above 2.00 CGPA would not ensure me a spot in the Bachelor of Laws course which is a full time course.

I searched this forum for quite some time and yea, its not a popular course and not much info can be found. Here's what I uncovered from the net:
- Fees: 10k with tutor/ 7k without tutor
- Course length: 3 years
- Exam: Must be answered in BM
- Need to take CLP to be called to the Malaysian Bar as a qualified lawyer
- Granted access to Universiti Malaya's facilities, e.g law library
- Need a letter from employer to state that my current job is related to the field of law

I need some verification on the above info. Btw, how do I apply for this course and when is the deadline for application? Because its not available on http://upu.mohe.gov.my/ and the closest programme offered on the web to this course is SARJANA MUDA UNDANG-UNDANG# and I assume it's the Bachelor of Laws (LLB).

I guess I have to work hard from now by self to at least to be able to become a lawyer, so guys, can give some advice to me?

1.5k budget, includes monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, operating system (cheap keyboard, mouse etc will do).

Mainly used for surfing web, heavy youtube user, and occasionally flash games on facebook.
Need superfast one for surfing web and microsoft office if can for 1.5k because I don't like laggy stuff.

[HELP] Driving Phobia

Attended 5 hours of KPP (Kurikulum Pendidikan Pemandu) <struggled in the 5 hours to pay attention>
and passed 45 / 50 in undang-undang test.... (quite satisfied wit da result because i only studied on that day~~)

So now another day to attend 3 hours of TEORI where the lecturer or cikgu is enjoying shiok sendiri. (the 3 hours are the longest 3 hours~~)

I had confidence before the 3 Hours of AMALI begins... because I can play quite well in GT5 with a set of driving wheels... thought driving is just a piece of cake...

THIS IS WHERE THE UNEXPECTED KICKS IN.....
I tot driving is just to step on the pedal and VROOM VROOM d
But huh? Start engine, step on clutch, change to reverse gear, slowly release clutch, then full press on clutch + brakes again.... blah blah blah....

2nd thing is THE PEDALS~~~~ driving in reality is really different from games~
Maintaining the same speed and release pedals slowly is really killing my feet and my legs are shaking sosososo BADLY because the instructor is kinda rush

LOL at one incident, the first time i reverse from the parking lot,
Ok come out d, thought everything is ok. The instructor asked me to "fong keok" (release leg) and the whole car went to reverse SUDDENLY because its not in free gear.

The instructor screamed in Shock~~ Luckily i braked the car soon enough if not kena tiang belakang.~
Soon, the 3 hours hell finished with climbing bukit, turning, reverse and side parking with speed less than 20 km /h ...

I'm worried from the lesson until now. The incident is still playing in my mind...... kind of like a driving phobia...
What will happen if i drive in the city later? need to change gear, step on brakes/pedals, steer, look around for cars, find roads etc.... (so many things to do)
I cant memorize roads so well because i daydream alot~~ (Truly respect to professional racers)

Am I the only one? Or is it common to first time beginner? Can Kopitiam Masters give some tips?
