Questions about rest day

Today I have a discussion with my company's senior managers:

Item one, I was told that according to Malaysian Law, by right all company employees are only entitled for ONE rest day per week (i.e. Sunday). Even though our working days in the job contract is 5 working days per week, if the company require the employee to work on Saturday, the employee is not eligible to claim for any remuneration. Reason being by law Saturday is not a rest day, and it was the company's good will to allow employees to rest on Saturday.

Item two, sometimes our company employees are required to travel overseas to work. If the travelling day falls on weekends or public holidays, there shall be no replacement leave or hardship allowance given to the employee. Reason being, travelling is not consider as "work", as the company has paid for the air ticket and the employee basically doing nothing during that time period. Hence, there shall be no remuneration for travelling on holidays, even though if the employee has to travel from morning until night.

The two rules above are only applicable to company's executive level and manager level staffs. Labor workers are entitled for remuneration (i.e. OT).

Can anyone verify whether were the statement given above correct? Not that I am being calculative, just to kill my curiosity.

Complaint report against police officer

I have had a traffic accident one month ago, the car lost control and banged to a tree in my residential area. No third party was involved. Since the damage was rather severe, I have decided to make police report and repair the car using my insurance. My car was sent to the repair shop after making the police report.

One week after that, the repair shop contacted me and said the insurance company require the photos from police station, in order to release the payment. I immediately went to police station and request for the photos. I paid RM2 and was told that I need to wait for 14 days to get the photo

Last Friday I called the police station to check the status and they blamed the Sarjan for not sending them the photo yet. This morning I have to call the Sarjan myself and Sarjan requested me to send him my report number, no reply after that.

My patience is being tested and I plan to file a complaint letter against their slow processing speed. Just wondering that does anyone have experience of filing a complain letter against police station? Would it make thing worse?

Pc restart on its own

Hi guys, I am going to create a website for my company. So here are the two doubts in my mind:

1) I came across www.wix.com, and it seems easy to config and fine-looking. Is there any other website that provide this kind of service? (build-in flash template and provide the users with domain, unlimited bandwidth (which I doubt so lol).

2) Does anyone have any recommendation for a "private domain email hosting" service? eg myname@mydomain.com.

I prefer ones that reliable and come with good price. No point paying little but it keep server down right?

Guys, while i was using my laptop, suddenly the screen went totally white, and i had to force power off the monitor. After I turn on the laptop, it still stucked at there with white screen.

Then after a few attempts, I manage to login to my laptop, but there are many lines

So I went to the safemode, and I updated my graphic card's software. Now after I restart my lappy, the lines still there, and I only have 800x600 option in my laptops

Whats wrong?

Some questions about micro SD

Hi guys, I have a few questions about micro SD:

1) Does higher class drain more battery?
2) Is class 6 sufficient actually? or do I need to go all the way to class 10?
3) Will higher capacity cause lagness to the phone? eg it takes longer to time to load 32gb mini sd?

For the past few days my laptop has experienced some random hang, and i need to power off the laptop and restart it.
So I tried to defrag it, however when defragmenting it hang'ed also
until i used some defrag software only manage to defrag it.

So before i slept yesterday, i performed a diskcheck before i sleep, and when i wake up just now, it is hanged it the process 5, 97%.

Now even when i wanted to delete some files in my window 7, it will appear an error 0x80070570.
and I cant install new software, so i opened the cmd and typed chkdsk, this appeared:

the other things are fine actually, i can surf, watch video...etc do everything smoothly.

So what should i do besides reformat my laptop? I believe there are still ways to rescue it.

wlm problem

my wlm suddenly got this problem (i havent login for the past few days), when i double click any contact's name, in order to open the chat window, my wlm will shut down itself. It says that "window live messenger has stopped working", and didnt show any error code at all.

I tried clean install for a few times, cleaning the regedit...etc also cant. Scanned for virus, and checked using hijackthis, it shows that my pc is clean from spywares/virus. I got no third party software installed, so what is the problem

Headache, never face such problem before.
