Availability of foam damped tyres in Malaysia?

Hi fellow lyn members, please share your thoughts about this “ new ” noise reduction technology in current tyre industry, is that any stock available in our market now?
According to those tyres manufacturers claim that implementation of foam kind materials could absorb noise and vibration when moving, this may give more refined driving experience.
Manufacturers with noise reducing tires and their name for the technology are as follows:-

After market lightweight crank pulley and flywheel

Hi everybody, i would like to hear more comments about lightening flywheels and lightweight crank pulley .

This aftermarket things appear long time ago , after few generation of improvement, they did strengthen the material and keep weightless .

But arguably, when come to mechanisms theory , they came out large pros and cons assumption.

The major opposition of the debate is engine rev easier but not speed faster . Torque increase or non , shortened or widened the rev band , reduced top speed etc ...

Behind the story , the previous owner of mine 1.8 mt inspira already mod de-cat exhaust system , k&n drop in air filter , electrical throttle control and Ecu mapping (stock chip)

I never run any dyno test to proof out result because I'm not the origin from stock car .

I did install LCP into my auto transmission car before but when come to Lightweight flywheel , it's seems new to me .

Please kindly share your thought about this lcp and l.flywheel . welcome and thank you 😊

Ps : we are discussing about the pro and cons about this kind aftermarket stuffs but not buy or not to buy , or others modded stuff . Thx ! 👍🏻

Myth !? Low psi on high tread rating tyres?

When ppl always talk bout correct pressure for tyres , but ? What it should b ?

Failure to maintain the correct air pressure can result in poor gas mileage, reduce tyre tread life, affect vehicle handling, and cause vehicle overloading , heavier body roll , If you consider these factors, then the need to routinely check the tyre pressure is a must *

I guess most of the f&f members here was the high pressure or over pressure tyres user . Just guessing * I'm pumped 38psi at front & 35psi at back . But my car manufacturer suggest 32/30 setup .

Because ? It gain more tread life at 1st , and save fuel on second atleast for me

As a 4wd pickup user , I did lower the air pressure on my tyres for off-road & rough surface condition pathway . The stability is there and also maximize the comfort in the cabin .
Other than that , It also make better grip on dry or wet condition , ofcos this mettod is the fuel and tyres tread life burner !

So now , do any benefit gain from low pressure or under pressure tyres ? Same theory apply on sedan car? Uhp tyres for example ?

I got an idea now , get a high tread life tyre but set to normal or less tyre pressure like 30-32 psi to gain better grip on surface and also gain the confidence on wet route . In 4 season country , it may gain better grip on snow wet condition too .
The pro and cons is huge gap , how to estimate lose of tyre tread life due to underinflation and consider the extra fuel we burn to push cars along on under pressure tyre ?
That's a myth or a fact ? Shall we lower the air pressure on high tread life tyre for better overall outcome , or just get better tyres with lower tread life but correct pressure level?

Come share your thought ! Please don't bash me , just to think on different way

Hi again every lyn forumers .

I would like to looking any legal way to trace back the detail of the vehicle registration card .

Recently my fren going to purchase a used car , placed rm1k booking fees and loan ready to sign on the stage now , after that he found out the vehicle registration card which shown by used car dealer is a new card which only show the last owner detail and the latest registered nomber (2015 January ) .
So the question come out that the car was manufactured 2010 and that's no details from the new vehicle reg card anymore .
He suspect that the car got some problem or the used car dealer trying to hide something's . eg , engine nomber , lost car , fake plate or few owners before *
Since he got the answer from used car dealer that the car is legal now , they wouldn't find out why the last owner change the vehicle reg card . Take it or leave it with booking fees burn !
My friend not a forumer and he got no time to go jpj for this kind process checking , so he would like to hire runner to find out the previous detail for this used car .
Before he look for runner , I'm here Kepoh to ask for some info about the situation . Any website , or any hotline may help ?
