Hi guys, thanks first of all for spending time in reading this, really appreciate getting help from friendly ppl in lowyat.

I've just a few questions that i definitely can't find answers online.

1) Taylors Auckland - how is the standard of the college? How easy would the entry into Auckland university be?
- Seeing that it is a foundation / college course specially designated for Auckland university, How would it be if you wanted to use marks from the course to enter into other university in New Zealand or Australia? Would anyone have any personal encounter / idea on it?

2) Any special experiences / things i should / need to know before heading there to study?

Can't detect LAN though connected?

Hi guys, thanks for spending some time in reading this, here's my problem:

I just came back home a month ago, formatted the pc at home to use myself, since then my connection has been buggy, it connected at first, but it lags a lot when i have torrents on, so i went to scan the pc and then removed some threats (avg and norton), and then i restarted my pc and i couldn't detect my lan though the cable was physically connected. My firewall settings were resetted as well.

I've tried almost everything, checking my hardware (it's installed already), disable my firewall, uninstall norton, and now i'm dying x.x

Problem with itunes 8.0

Hi guys, i just updated to itunes 8.0 yesterday night, and somehow i can't see the other itunes on my LAN, which was possible at the 7.5 version. I didn't change anything and just updated with the download of the safari browser >"< Can anyone help help mar?

XP BSOD

Hi guys, i'm a bit of buggy, but sorry, cause last time after i saved the laptop from the antivirus XP, my friend took it home and it somehow had BSOD =x= nt sure whether they're connected but just to mention it out. XP Virus Help

Hi guys, please and thank you first for reading my post.

I've got a xp laptop, which just got killed by a few viruses last night, where my desktop changed to "Your computer has been infected by a virus, please install an antivirus". Actually it doesn't belong to me, it's a friend of mine who installed the program "Antivirus xp 2008", which i assume is another gimmick in tricking people to install something bad.

I had a scan with avira, avg, ad-aware, and notron. Managed to delete all the spywares from the cookies, a few trojans and a virus. But somehow after removing all of these, i still can't seem to change the desktop of mine. In which where i click the display properties, the option isn't even availiable. >"<

Would any great master please enlighten me here? Really really don't want to format the laptop ><

Alternative Law / Art subject Universities

Hi guys, was just wondering whether there are any nice unis throughout the world to study law (good, cheap, good recognition). I'm studying now in Australia for the foundation program and due to the super price increase, the inflation and all those crappy stuff, i'd have to resolve to other places to study my degree besides Australia, so has anyone have any recommendation for law or art subjects that are good and famous? (i won't decline Malaysian Unis too).

Acer travelmate 4020 sound card installation

Hihi, this is my first time posting here, hope to be able to get some help.

I have an acer travelmate 4020, in which i just formatted yesterday but i seem to can't detect my sound card... Is an extra installation needed for it to function mar, cause i'm sure that the speakers are okay... ><" can't find my old cd though, anyone can help see into this matter?
