Please advise me on 3D projector & source

Recently I bought the blu-ray movie Resident Evil in 3D.
I want to watch it in it's full 3D glory, but my system cannot do it.

Current setup;
Player : PS3
Projector : Optoma HD803

Does 3D movies depend on the player or the projector?
Do I need a 3D amps too? Do I need 3D HDMI cables too?

Using my system, I can still watch those older movies such as Journey to the centre of the Earth etc using spectacles.

Region B Blu ray players, who got?

Projector screen search

Most of the movies I watched has screen aspect ratio of 2.35:1 or 2.40:1. But then some of the old DVDs are 1.66:1. So, how?

Do they sell ready made 2.40:1 projector screen? I'm looking at around 100 ~ 110". For those who are using screen now, what size do you use?

I currently have a Panasonic AE900 with a blu-ray Sharp player. I am thinking of upgrading the AE900.

The top of my list for the replacement projector is the AE-2000.

I welcome your thoughts and inputs.

I might be able to help. I'm going to US this friday.
I'm returning on 27th, arriving at KLIA at 1:00pm. I will transiting at KLIA before departing to Miri at 8:40 flight on the same day.

As I will be in KLIA for 7+hours, I willing to buy a limited amount of small things and hand carry from US to KLIA to deliver to those who are interested to meet me at KLIA.

If you're from Miri, then no problem. The things will be in the main luggages. Kuching also no problem because 2nd March I will go to kuching.

I will be staying in Houston and the zip code is 77077.

I'm not into high def. yet but my friend & I are thinking of getting 2 oppo (970HD & 981) plus some hard to find cables etc....

Please post here to discuss if it is worth meeting in KLIA.

1) I don't need HDMI input or other video processor capability.
2) 5.1 channel is sufficient
3) Budget less than RM1500??
4) With remote control
5) Coaxial and/or optical input?

I am currently using pioneer 490 outputting Video using HDMI to Pana. 900.
My amp. is some old yamaha pro logic which currently could not receive DTS sound.

I realise he sell a lot of things. But how hard is it to refund me my money? If he has really banked in the money to me, the RM1790 should already been deducted from his account, right. Then why is he still asking for my account no. after he claims to have banked in the money?
