Guys,

I love the settlers HD. I'm trying to complete this game. However it keeps crashing when I play Dark Tribe level 9:the Mayan quest: search continue.

I've tried playing back this same mission again and notice that it keeps crash 1hour 30 minutes onwards. I think I hav e too many settlers/activity/building until the program cannot cope.

Question:
1. Have anyone of u experiencing this issue?
2. Have anyone completed this game?
3. How to solve this issue?

I would like to trade share using iPad. However public share link only works on Internet explorer and activex. I know I need to jailbreak ( I dont mind). But I do not know how.

Hi,

My GF has dark complexion. She is chinese but looks like malay. I would like her to have whiter, fairer skin.

At the moment she is using Nivea extra whitening Night cream (@ night) and Nivea whitening lotion (@ morning). Both only applicable for body.

Do you have any recommendation on product to use on her face?

I heard abaout Olay/Garnier and Neutrogena.

Which one is the best and produce good result? money no object

I would like to start purchasing my first property for INVESTMENT. currently i'm buying lot's of Stock/REIT/Unit Trust.

I'm looking at areas around Bukit Jelutong/Ara Damansara/Subang/USJ/Putra Heights/Puchong/Klang.

My buying price is up to RM 1 million, if possible with 90% financing, if not 80% can do too...

I am open to investing in landed residential/service apartment/leasehold apartment/semi dees.

The longer the completion/delivery of units. The better.

sorry, i have look thru all thread here but cannot seem to find a solution to my problem.

I tried using the followin method:-

Option 1: Using iBrickr
Download the plugin to your computer
Send it up to Application folder using iBrickr.
That’s it!

PROBLEM HERE IS I CANNOT SET UP IBRICKR LA. EVERYTIME I TRIED INSTALLING PXL, IT WONT INSTALL HENCE I CANNOT CONTINUE.

or, if you have WiFi connection you can install it directly.

Launch Safari in iPhone, surf to http://www.iphone.org.hk

hello people,

My girlfriend, from Japan age 23, would like to study ENGLISH and CHINESE full time here in Malaysia.

I would like to ask which language center/college/institution is the best to send her to.

She also would need accomodation somewhere nearby, so that she don't have to take our pathetic public transport (because i am very concern about a safety of such a lovely girl).

She do not know how to drive. And i have to work 9 to 5, so i cannot leave office to send her here and there.

Please give suggestion, my initial choices are:-

ICLS - Inter cultural language center in SS15, while staying in MY PLACE apartment.

Sunway - but i do not about the accomdation there.

Public Bank has just launched a structured investment vehicle called the PB OrientExpress Investment. The offer date is from the 17th till 31 October 2007.

Potential returns of 11% in 18months. That works out to an interest rate of about 7.33% per annum.

After checking out the Hong Leong webpage, I really don't believe this EXTREMELY ATTRACTIVE PROMOTION. Let's discuss on this offer.

For Example,

if you put 100k FOR 12 months, 40% of your investment will go into FD, which mean 40k will get interest of 7.6%

60% of your investment, in this case 60k will go into UNIT TRUST with service charge of only 2.75%!!! (other fund houses also charge between 4 to 7 % la). On top of that, you can choose top fund houses like OSK-UOB and also Hwang DBS!!

Ok, being conservative, can i say that unit trust will give me 5% nett return in one year. Therefore my profit will be

40k (FD) *7.6% = RM3040
and

60k (UT) * 5% = RM3000

Total profit = RM6040

ROI = 6.04% (which is more or less guaranteed because i take a very conservative figure of 5% nett on my unit trust profit)

ETF: Something new for investors

Local investors will soon have the option to invest in a new type of instrument - Equity Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). The FBM30etf will be the first ETF, introduced by AmInvestment Bank Group, to be listed on the Bursa Malaysia next Monday.

What is an ETF?
An ETF is very similar to open-ended unit trusts. It's an instrument representing a basket of stocks that is most commonly designed to track the performance of all kinds of indices. For example, there could be an ETF to track the KLCI, the Second Board Index; a sector index, like the Property Index; or in this case, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Large 30 Index. More innovative ETFs can track commodities like oil futures and gold.

Why invest in ETF?
ETFs, like unit trusts, offer investors the benefits of diversification. For instance, an investor buying the FBM30etf will gain exposure to the 30 largest companies by market capitalisation, all in one. In other words, they don't have to fork out a lump sum of money to buy each and every one of the 30 stocks - just the minimal one board lot (or 100 units) of the FBM30etf.

Better yet, ETFs usually has lower expense ratio than comparable unit trusts. Annual management fee for unit trusts usually range between 1% and 2%. By comparison, the annual administrative fees for FBM30etf are estimated to total around 0.65%.

The lower fees and expenses are, primarily, because ETFs are passively managed funds. That means the underlying portfolio of stocks and weightings simply mirror the indices they're tracking. In short, investors do not get the benefit of fund managers stock picking or timing the market. Having said that, it remains arguable whether actively managed funds do perform better over the longer term.

Unit trusts also have higher sales charge, typically 5% or higher, whereas the transaction costs for ETFs are similar to those for normal shares trading including brokerage commission (0.3% to 0.6%), stamp duty and clearing fees.

How to buy and sell ETFs?
Trading in ETFs is also a simpler and more convenient process - it's just like stock trading. Investors can buy or sell the ETF by calling their remisiers at any time during trading hours and using the same trading/CDS accounts. This allows investors to be more responsive to market changes. Transactions are settled in the usual way as stocks are, on T+3.

The price of an ETF is determined by demand and supply but shouldn't stray too far from the market value of its underlying portfolio. ETFs also normally have a dividend policy. The FBM30etf expects to distribute any dividends and interest income it receives semi-annually, after netting expenses.

In a nutshell...
ETFs offer investors a relatively low cost, passive way of investing in the market. Returns will more or less mirror the future performance of the underlying index. Under prevailing trading conditions, we suspect that the FBM30etf will do fairly well.

While sentiment for the broader market has been somewhat ambivalent of late, share prices for key blue chips have been inching higher. The FBM30 Index has risen some 47% since its creation just over a year ago, while cumulative gains year-to-date stand at roughly 25%.

Hello guys,

I recently bought my rig for GAMING and TORRENT. I also installed WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE 64bit.

I also install Utorrent as my torrent client. Unfortunately, I'm having problem VIEWING TORRENT File that i've uploaded.

My default video player is WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11 and everytime I tried viewing it. It says, you need to apply permission to view this file!!!!

I wanna ask, if there are any other players out there I can view Torrent file with?

I'm a first time torrent user. I'm getting lots of headache install both Utorrent and Bitcomet.

when i install Utorrent, the setup ask me to forward port to utorrent site. This is a big headache for me to understand Static IP and configure my modem.

My modem i'm using is 3Com 3CRWDR101A-75. ADXL Wireless 54Mps Firewall Router

Should i :-

a. configure port forward myself?
b. Get the software they are selling called PFConfig which cost USD 30?
