Ever met a Malay who have no clue what a garpu is?

I'm a Malay myself, but every time I went to a Malay-staffed restaurant, when I asked for a garpu, they have no idea what I'm talking, as if I'm saying 'fork' in an alien language, despite 'garpu' being an actual Malay word. I recall one staff who looked confused when I say 'garpu' to her, and asked her boss "Apa benda tu garpu?".

Anyone here have the same problem, especially as a Malay customer?

What are other Malay words for 'fork besides 'garpu'?

Problem details
First occurence of problem:
Middle of World Cup Event, Early July

Problem frequency: Almost every day. Sunday somehow no problem

Problem description:
Around the middle of the World Cup, my house is experiencing frequent slowdowns. Up to the point where it gets offline. Tried rebooting, but to no avail. Somehow, even I can't get online or view websites on my PC or my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the modem light looks strangely normal, no red light. I tried calling the helpline, they said something about the area's Unifi cable under maintenance due to MRT work nearby. Otherwise, same solution from the helpline: Reboot, modem problem, if not send technician, rinse repeat.

Anyone here can help?

There are lots of apps out there that lets you make money just by downloading them. Unfortunately, most I come across are from the USA and use (blecch) Paypal. Are there any apps out there that not only makes money, but also is easy is to cash out in Malaysia?

It's too easy to assume that all YES vendors are the same.

Actually, it depends on who to talk to, how much they know about YES they're promoting, how friendly he is and more.

I live around Kelana Jaya, and work in Damansara Mutiara. There's this vendor at E@Curve who knows his product.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Deal pt 2: Celcom or YES

Here's a followup:

I would get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 by end of August.

People of Low Yat recommends that I should get the Celcom deal.

But I'm now thinking of whether I should go for Celcom or YES.

I could just go for the non-3G Tab 2 'cos it's cheaper. I'm not using it to make phone calls or SMS. YES allows for internet connection without the use of sim card, plus I can connect up to two three more wifi devices.

So which do you think I should go for?

Celcom or YES?
