[WTF] Alkaline Water Tap/Faucet, Need Help !

I'm in search of a very specific type of water faucet for Alkaline water machine in replacement of the stock tap diverter supplied.

Please find the attached image : technically it looks like a normal countertop water filter tap/faucet, but there's 2 in/out connector at the stem of the tap to allow acidic water flow when the machine process alkaline water.

Can we have a rollover ad that's not intrusive?

I find the current sony ad annoying as a slight rollover and it blocks all the topics and next thing u know that irritating music comes along.

I know ads are important to keep this forum alive... I dont mind rollover ads that roll out and block the topics but minimizes the moment I move it away, but giving in to an ad that blocks the forum topics whenever the mouse rollover it and it stays is not giving me a pleasant experience and definitely is not helping the brand as it pisses me off rather than me favoring it.

What do you guys think ?

Snatch thieves

As you all may have know, snatch thieves cases are rampant these days.

Just to share, I've just witnessed a snatch thieve case in Jalan Jelatek, at the cross roads near AU2 / army camp at about 2pm.

I as stopping at the traffic light where a red Volvo was just 2 cars ahead in front of me. A motorbike with 2 riders was travelling slowly in between the cars
and suddenly stopped at the passenger side of the Volvo,

I smell something fishy as motorist usually stops right before the junctions instead of in between cars, but before I could even react, the pillion rider was
hitting the Volvo's passenger side window with his elbow. The window breaks into pieces within 4 blows, the pillion rider reach into the car, grab the
bag, and rides off, leaving all of us stuck at the traffic lights. All these happened in less than 10 seconds.

As a reminder, please, please put away all your valuable items away. This may also happen to gentlemen with their notebook bags.

* note: The Snatch Thieves are riding on a Blue Yamaha 125 Z without any number plates. Both are thin, and wears white long sleeves T shirts with Jeans.

Hi all.

as the title suggest, I'm looking for a few amature photographers or hobbyist photographers to form a group where we will focus in taking paintball events.

Q: Why Paintball ?
A: Simple, to start with, I'm a paintballer and a hobbyist photographer. There are countless of times where we, paintballers hoped that someone could get our pictures during a game, when we do some good moves and such. However, most of the time is, there's no dedicated photographers around. We did have one, but he is also a player, hence, most of the time he can't take pictures. Hence the idea of setting up a group of dedicated paintball photographers set in.

Q: So why set up a group ? why we can't just open for all ?
A: We can't possibly let every one go into the field, hence we need a group of people where there'll be better man power management, and security issues. In the past few years, only press photographers are allowed to enter the field during big events, but now, we're trying to give a selected few the chance to do so.

Q: So what do the photographers get in return ? Do we have to pay ?
A: This is most likely the question in everyone's mind. NO, you do not have to pay a single cent once selected. However, the only exchange that the organizers need is a copy of all the pictures you took during the event. These copies are solely to be used for promotions and press purposes only and no royalty fee is tobe paid. Copyrights of the photos still belong to the photographer. So what do you get in return ? You get to sell your photos to fellow paintballers, who are readily willing to pay for them ( should the charge is reasonable ), and if photos are published in any form of press, names would be mentioned. Yes, you get exclusive pass and fame and fortune ( should you know how to sell your photos ).
We'll discuss this in details when you get selected.

Q: So what are the Requirements?
A: I'm looking at someone who possess a DSLR and at least a long lens, preferbly a 300mm. Of course, you'll need to have basic photography skills and composition skills. Last but not least, Discipline. Well, you should be eager to learn as well. Should you think your skills are not good enough, don't worry as I'll try my best to guide and help.

Q: So what should the photographer be aware of?
A: 3 things. Safety, Safety and Safety. Since you'll be in a field where there's 10 live paintball markers with tonnes of pellets flying around, safety guides and rules must be adhere strictly. That's why we need you to be discipline. Don't worry much about this as we'll train you up and guide you through the process when you're selected.

Q: So what do we do ?
A: As a photographer, what you need to do is to cover the event during event days. Of course, you'll need to practise on weekends as well. Paintball photography isn't just that simple as you thought, hence practice is surely needed, who knows, if you're good enough, you might build your own portfolio in this field and be the first successful paintball photographer in the country.

SPM Spot Question eBook for Download

As part of our school project, we developed a SPM Spot Questions book to be given away for free to SPM students. Its called Soalan Ulangkaji SPM 2007.

The book was developed with the help of a group of expert teachers who are question paper setters, text book writers and SPM paper markers. They were brought together by Ibrahim Saad, who was the Education Editor of Berita Harian, who also sub edited and coordinated the project for us.

Due to the high cost of printing, we could only print 10,000 copies to be given away for FREE to Form 5 students in 43 schools in Klang Valley.

We know the book has good value and it can benefit more students, so we have produced eBook version of the book for people to download for free. The book is available on our website www.timesguides.com. Anyone can download it for free.

If you have friends or sisters/brothers/relatives/kids who will be sitting for SPM this year...pls inform them about this. We are confident it will help them prepare better for their exams.
