HTPC Died - Please recommend me upgrade

My HTPC finally died after 7 years of not switching off. I now do not play movies on it but rather have it as my download station and media storage server. I primarily use my dune as my media player and connect it to my network to stream the movies from my HTPC.

I have kind of lost track of IT stuff so can someone recommend a good processor and All-In-One MOBO for me to upgrade too? I think I should be able to recycle most of my other stuff.

I just got a whatsapp msg from a property agent which I would like to verify if its true. It says that from 1/1/2015 onwards, banks no longer offer minus interest rate of BLR, there will be BLR + 0% or higher. Last day submission on loan to entitle for minus on interest rate will be set at 19/12/2014.

Can someone verify if this is true?

Wharfadale Diamond VS Dynaudio Focus

I recently got back from Singapore and auditioned the Dynaudio Focus speakers there. I can tell you I was totally hooked with the clarity it produce but the demo wasn't so good since was in an open environment powered by a high end pioneer receiver.

I'm thinking of upgrading to the Dynaudio Focus but am wondering if there is going to be a major difference in terms of sound quality in my current setup. I need some help from sifu here to decide. I currently have a dedicated room for my home theater with the current set up.

1) Emotiva XPA-5 Power amp
2) Yamaha RXV 3800 receiver
3) Wharfadale Diamond 9.6 - fronts
4) Wharfadale Diamond 9.1 - Side

Extremely slow netload downloading

I've been downloading from netload.in for the past few months at 170 - 180 kb/s on my 2mb line without any issues. I use jdownloader and normally schedule all my downloads and leave my PC on 24/7.

The past few weeks, my netload account has slowed down to a crawl. I'm getting probably 3 - 5 kb/s and then after awhile all the downloads will stop. I also have a hotfiles account and I can get full speed (170 - 180kb/s) downloads from there so I know its not my internet problem.

Can anyone help me with this problem? Is Streamyx throttling my downloads from netload?

Planning to get a digital media jukebox but I'm a bit confused about what to get. Maybe you guys can help me out here on which one I should pick. My criteria for the jukebox will be as below:

1) Plays .mkv files and mp4 (h.264 encoding)
2) HDMI 1.3 compatible
3) Able to pass or decode all latest HD audio formats to amplifier (DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD...)
4) HDMI out for audio and video (if audio not supported, output through coaxial or spdif)
5) STABLE software
6) Network and Wifi support

I think that should be it. Hope to hear some opinions from the users here on which I should go for.

I am thinking to get into blu-ray since I just saw the awesome image it played on my 92" home theater screen. I think my eyes is spoiled for HD already. Blu-ray is still pretty costly here (about RM 150/disc) and I want to know some of the experiences of forummers that have purchased from Amazon. I have heard that the customs are more strict now and will tax you heavily if you bring in these items. For those who have made recent purchase from Amazon, I would appreciate if you can share your experience with the othere here.

- 1 Diamond encrusted Omega Watch (Women)
- Diamond bracelets, chains and earrings
