I am looking for contractor that are able to do design and build outdoor decking on slope. Footing will be needed for the deck.

I got a quote from one landscape contractor using chengal wood include landscaping. Is there any cheaper option for the wood deck? Any contractor to recommend?

Anybody know where to find window opening restrictor. It restric the opening of window for safety purpose like those that found in most hotel window. I would prefer those with key release for easier window cleaning if possible.

Tough Water Spot on Windshield

I am trying to remove tough watermark/stain on my windshield. So far I have try using household glass cleaner, Turtle Wax ClearVue Auto Glass Cleaner, bathroom cleaner, rainx, soak using cloth with vineger but the stain is still there.

I try claying the windshield and some of the stain can be remove but most of it still there.

Anyone have this problem and what the best way to remove it?

Hard Disk causing PC to not boot up

I got this weird hard disk problem. It a 3 years plus Seagate Barracuda 80G sata drive. As soon as I connect it to a working pc, the pc just will not boot up, not even fan spinning.

I try it on 2 pc and it just behave the same way. I disconnect this hard disk and it work again.

PC not starting up, CPU is unworkable

My pc failed to start up most of the time and it just went blank. Nothing on the screen and only the fan is turning.

After trying for few time it says

CPU is unworkable or has been changed. Please recheck - CPU soft Menu

Main processor stated as AMD Athlon XP 1100 MHz when my processor is 2500 Mhz.

Is the processor faulthy? Any idea how to get it fix?

Pacific S&P Global Stars Fund

I bought this fund for about a year ago (Pacific S&P Global Stars Fund) . Since lately this fund is going up. The net return for my investment is about 9.5%.

It is still going up. The bank said that this fund might still going up for 1 or 2 week. Any advice? Should I sell now or keep it?

Discount/Extra Unit for Fund?

The bank just told me recently that they can no longer offer extra unit (discount) for fund purchase through them. Previously I enjoy about 1-3% extra unit when I invest with them.

Is this the new regulation practice by all bank now?

How do I know if I am being charge for any content by maxis if I am a hotlink user?

I am abit worried after reading the jeffooi blog that some user are being charge for content that they never subscribe.

Cannot access router setting page in IE

I am using aztech DSL600ew. I cannot access the admin setting page (192.168.1.1) using my IE. It say "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". However Mozilla have no problem. I have 2 computer conect to the same router and both have the same problem. Any idea what is going on?

DVD drive keep ejecting

My dvd drive keep ejecting for no reason. Sometime it happen like every 5-10 minute or so with notting inside. This is very annoying.

It is a hardware/software problem or just the drive is dying? Thanks for any help
