Cannot connect to internet via router

Previously i use Aztech Modem (supplied by TMnet) to pair with my Linksys router ( WRT54GS). Then the modem been strikes by lightning so i bought a Linksys ADSL2MUE modem from one of the forumner here. I've been tryin to get the modem to work. To no avail. I can't get it to work via the Ethernet connection pairing with this WRT54GS router.

When I try to connect the modem IS connecting to DSL as the LED flashes (connecting) and then stays alight (connected) but the internet LED is not blinking at all.

I can't figure out why I can't connect.

Has anyone got any ideas?. How's the setting shld be in 192.168.1.1 ?
