Phuket

Hi guys,

Me and my mates are going to Phuket on 18th to 21st June and since it has been a very long time since we last stepped foot there, I would like the gracious people of LYN to fill this thread with their thoughts, opinions and ideas on what Phuket is today.

We have made our reservations online for flight and hotel. We have also did research on what we can gather about Phuket (activities, makan place, tours). So do tell us what we can do there apart from the nighlife because we will be hitting Bangla Rd (we are staying in Patong) for beers!

So yeah, please do share, we are planning for Jungle Bungee Jump so far. How is the food there? How is Phi-phi and the Jams Bond island tour? Worth it? What about those caberat shows? How expensive? Any tips to save on food/activites? What about shopping?

Cheers!

TGIF

Hey guys, im planning a birthday dinner for my mum in a few weeks time at TGIF. I want to ask is what should i order in TGIF for a group of 10 hungry people consisting of 7 adults and 3 kids. Im planning to order a couple of dishes and share them around rather than having a meal each. If possible do add in the price of the food. Thanks in advance!

Repairing old camera

Hey there. My dad has a Nikon FG camera all the way from 1982. So I thought of giving photography a try with it. Much to my dismay, one of the parts (not sure the name of it, is missing), so I need to have it replaced and cleaned cause there is dust in it. Anyone knows any good camera repair shops which provide a good service at an affordable price? I'm based in S14 PJ, any repair shops nearby? Thanks in advance.

Changing Avanza's tire size

Hi guys! I currently own a Toyota Avanza which I'll be changing it's tires soon. I'm using the stock tires ever since I got the car which is 185/65/R15. I've visited a few tires shops around my area, PJ and most of them recommend me to change to 195/60/R15. The essence of my post is choosing the tire's profile/aspect ratio, should I stick with 65 or go for 60 or 55? Most of the time I use my car for city driving, hardly go outstation and hardly carry a full car load of people. So what do you guys recommend? Should I go with 195/60/R15 or try another combination? My budget is RM 150-250, I prefer comfort/quiet tires. And I'm going to use my stock rims. And what brand should I get? All comments, suggestions, recommendations are welcomed. Thanks in advanced!!
