Hi every1, I am facing a problem right now, thinking which software or tool should I use.

I need to help my father to develop a inventory system for his company use. My father company is only a small type of business. The system does not require online but have to connected within the internal line (all pc can connect to the same system , same database). What the main thing the system need to do is just add, edit , delete the item and maybe display some item detail.

Therefore, what software tool or language that i can use to develop this system ?

I was helping my cousin to fix his computer, at first his harddisk is spoil. Bios cant detect any HD, therefore i formated my extra HD and put to his computer. Thn start to install window xp for it, i put the window cd inside n boot for it, it seem ok at this stage. But while preparing installation ( Before choose which drive to be install or format ), my pc hang on it.

Any1 know what happen to the pc ? is tat hardware prob ?
