Applying housing loan after starting new job

Hello all

I'm currently thinking of buying an apartment, ~500k.
The issue is that I just resigned few days ago, and will be starting my new job after New Year's (the pay is a lot better)

However I understand that banks are reluctant to offer loans if you're just starting out a new job.
Will I need to wait 3/6 months before applying? Don't want to miss out on the HOC.

Redirecting traffic to a specific location

This should be basic stuff, but I've never had the need/want to do it.

I'm going to set up a wireless network, Netgear router with DD-WRT installed. It is not connected to the internet. Around 30 people are going to connect to it.

Two situations :

1. When people type in ANY address, they are redirected to a very specific location on a specific ip i.e. all traffic is directed to it.

2. When people type in a specific address, they are redirected to a certain location on a certain ip different from the previous.

So how do I go about doing these 2 situations? Should I set up my own DNS server?
A link to a guide or something about this should be enough for me to figure it out.

Hello

I'm interested in doing a Masters in Pure Maths. Mainly been thinking about UM or UKM, so I was wondering if anyone had any opinions? Also, how did/do you pick which field to specialize in?

For instance, I enjoy Differential Geometry, Topology and Analysis quite a lot but I will admit I'm only average at them. Compared to say Number Theory or Graph Theory, I personally view myself as quite competent at those, but my interest in them is waning by the day.

Am already working so would probly be doing it part time. I would like to actually start this year, otherwise I feel that my spirit will run dry and I'll just stick to my career after this. Would be awesome to hear people's experience in doing this part time.
